Efficient with little or no supervision: After working for one week, I received a handover from the Head of Corporate Communications to start development on IBQ’s Islamic website from scratch while the manager went on a 3 week leave. My work was always completed on time for submission for approval.

Works well with a team: I was also being utilized by the Marketing and Advertising team working together in creation of new product promotions and graphic designs.

Impressive & quick: Two months after my contract expired I was called in for a full time post to handle Corporate Communications department operations with the new Head of Department.

Strategy Study of Social Media: Was assigned to research and create a study for IBQ on whether to go on Social Media (Facebook, YouTube etc.). This was later presented by the Head of Corporate Communications to the C-Level Managers. Research on IBQ comments on blogs and national Qatari sites to monitor people feedback and ensure accuracy of the information published by others. Managed to find few FB accounts that were created by non IBQ and IBQ personnel, the users were chased and asked to close the accounts to protect the Bank reputation and ensure data was posted by trusted personnel.

• Quality of work: Sent to a client location abroad (New Delhi, India) on my own to complete a project that was on hold for over 8 months and managed to go down for a week to implement & run it. My work was of high quality and the location received a recommendation letter from the client who is still in business with SIS Abu Dhabi.

• Created & maintained a long awaited opportunity: The National Oil Company in Qatar was divided into 3 separate fields, one of which was the only field not using the Schlumberger technology like the other two. After a long processes of effective meetings with key contacts and bringing Schlumberger consultants in and out of Doha, I managed to bring together the fields and create synergy between them closed a $3 million deal.
