Achievements:
• Requested by the Chairman of Mubarrad Co. and Emdad Co to manage and develop the business of post the former's sale.
• Successfully dealt and achieved success in the highly challenging field of leasing heavy equipment for oil field companies on long term basis and providing tower cranes and hoists to construction companies.
Turned around the company to a profitable entity within a year through prudent resource management and cost control.

Responsibilities:
• Optimizing existing operational processes and workflows in areas of procurement, administration, corporate strategy and finance at the company
• Spearheading the migration of the company’s operational model from one that is transaction based into a leaner and effective process based model that produced definite measurable results in terms of performance.
• Undertaking budgeting and tracking company expenses, devising strategies to increase revenue and collecting all due payments as per collection norms.

• Spearheaded the operations of the entire transport team and responsible for looking after more than 300 different types of vehicles on a 24 hour basis.
• Served on-call out of hours and at weekends to deal with any urgent matters.
• Designed the salary scheme for drivers according to their work location and provided good accommodation and transportation facilities leading to greater retention.

Responsibilities:
• Oversaw the transport of all types of cargo ranging from containers to spare parts, cars, frozen items and unusual size items.
• Serviced major US military camps in Kuwait and Iraq, supported KDD with the distribution of their products to GCC and Jordan using refrigerated trucks.

• Won a contract from the main contractor to provide comprehensive logistics services for all Kuwait borders for The General Administration of Customs - State of Kuwait.
• Selected as project manager due previous experience in customs clearance, distribution, transport, handling and my knowledge of customs and ports management as well as the Kuwait International Airport.

Responsibilities:
• Provided 60 equipments and trucks comprising 30 forklifts, 20 mobile cranes, 10 - 50 tons and 10 flat beds along with 2200 workers.
• Handled day-to-day loading, unloading, handled inspections operations and ensured the presence of all workers in the workplace, according to their shift schedules.
• Notified the client of the equipment availability and possible delays, coordinated site operations, tracked status and mitigated complaints.
• Ensured the seamless execution of all works at site and paid attention to parameters of cost, efficiency and time.

Local Transport and Distribution Manager at Agility Logistics

  • Playing Football to maintain a healthy mind and body, Enjoy swimming from my child hood
    Played in Al-SalmiyaSport Club during year 1986/1987 football team U-20. Played for the club in Jordan (first class) during my study in college and qualified for the Premier League in the same year. In 1995 coach of Fahaheel Sport club football team called me to play, and turned down the request because they did not accept the provision of a monthly salary.
