I worked for MastermindKK / Staromedic as Senior Project Manager for the development of hospitals in Equatorial Guinea and other countries in central and southern parts of the African continent. My function is to develop the project together with the technical consulting teams, organize the team on site and being responsible for the procurement of contractors. Also I represent the company to public entities, contractors and the final client, like the First Lady of Equatorial Guinea.

I developed in an international team (Lebanese, Guinean, Israeli, spanish, Italian, Ghanaian), a modern hospital in Malabo. As project manager I combined local African circumstances and conditions with european standards and teams.

Since 2002 I work for Mecanoo as Senior Architectural Engineer and Senior Project manager. From 2007 I work on location in Spain. My functions are fiscal en juridical representative, project manager, technical project engineer, contracting partner, communicator between clients, local partners, public authorities and Mecanoo Delft, managing and directing design teams, execution management.

courthouse Ciudad de Justicia (48.000m2, €61, 5M)

Courthouse with more than 20 courtrooms, a wedding chapel, a forensic institute, offices, a café, an archive, a prison and a parking garage. Total surface 48.000 m2. Client regional government of Andalusia. building costs € 61.521.000, -

Congress building and theatre ‘La Llotja’ (27.800m2, €35, 2M)

A theater en congress center of 15.7507 m2 with two congress halls (1200 and 400 seats), of which the biggest also will be used as a theatre, a multifunctional space, a lounge, a parking garage of 9.500 m2 and a square of 15.325 m2, Mercolleida office building and space for retail of 2.591 m2. Client town hall of Lleida in Spain. March 2010 the building was officially inaugurated by the king and queen of Spain. building costs € 35.240.000, -

military officers hotel ‘De Citadel’ (16.300m2, €16.8M)

Design and execution of the master plan and the military officers hotel with 447 rooms for Royal Army Navy on the premises of the former Alexanderkazerne. After the initial design engineered, developed and built according the principal of innovative tendering, DBFM (Design, Build, Finance & Maintain), in which the contractor acted as our client. Client DGW&T (Dutch ministry of Defense, department development of infra-structural works and buildings) . Total surface 16.345 m² building
