Worked as Senior Freight Forwarder for the Scandinavian Department. Was responsible for Business Unit Profitability and Customer Satisfaction. Dealt with Export/Import and handled all necessary documentation and processes including Customs and Hazardous Goods. Managed exclusively the Chilled Food Import Services. Quotation to customers, negotiations with carriers, invoicing, handling purchase invoices, solving customer queries, accounting and producing reports were all daily tasks

• Increased profitability of Scandinavian market by more than 20% by mid 2010 after reviewing all agents’ costs.

As a Senior Service & Business Development Manager, she was responsible for all the Eastern European countries and accountable for the department’s financial profitability and overall customer satisfaction. Organized and secured a significant operation of foreign vehicles and hauliers as customers’ needs required. Once the services were highly developed and the department expanded, her work was recognized and was given management responsibilities to build a new team of four Service Operators to meet the increasing business needs.
Key achievements:
• Developed from start the Eastern European markets and achieved to launch daily export unit departures.
• Often called in to meet tight deadlines, and thus avoiding any late delivery penalties and customer dissatisfaction.
• Secured and had major role to set up a new partner office in Hungary and also built good relationships with other partner offices, increasing the number of accounts managed by her department.
• Assigned as Super user for the new Operations Computer System and also helped with customizing it.

Senior Freight Forwarder within the Hungarian Operations Department. Managed their Export and Import Services including big customer accounts like Suzuki, Kodak and arranging their transport needs, custom clearances, invoicing, accounting. Improved the department profitability and secured several major new customer accounts.

Worked as a Freight Forwarder for the Benelux, German and Scandinavian markets within the Export/Import Operations department. Responsible for managing all aspects of the Export traffic which included Hazardous Goods and Customs. Was responsible to keep the customers informed, arranging their transportation needs, invoicing, accounting and reporting. In 1999 she was promoted to a Team Leader and the role expanded into the company’s Commercial and Sales department where she was also involved with Marketing, Pricing and Sales strategy.

Started in the department of Freight Charge Control where was responsible for the incoming purchase invoices and their accounting. Promoted as a Freight Forwarder for the company’s Russian Rail department where was managing the incoming Rail freight. Was controlling and dispatching arriving wagons, managing borders’ trans-shipment, documentations, deliveries, invoicing, accounting, returning wagons to the Soviet Union. Due to the positive distinctions received, she was offered and worked for the DANZAS office in Buchs, Switzerland in 1995. In 1996 transferred to the company’s UK office in Purfleet, as a Freight Forwarder on the EuroConnect Road Export department. Started on the Swiss market where she was preparing all export documents including the necessary Customs and Hazardous documents. Then moved on to the Irish and Greek services. Later included the Benelux department. Was responsible for organizing and planning these services in the most profitable and economic way, invoicing and reporting.
