Prepare Construction Environmental Management Plan and update according to the requirement of project and client
Prepare and Present Construction Environmental Management Plan presentation to the Project Management Consultant (PMC), the Public Works Authority (PWA/ASHGHAL)
Prepare and coordinate various environmental permit needed on the project
Daily co-ordination and management of the Health, Safety & Environment team within the company to ensure that all work is undertaken efficiently and the highest level of quality is delivered on time
Maintain a culture that allows all individuals and teams to provide positive input into Safety, Health and Environment in their workplace.
To develop and maintain excellent communications with all levels of staff providing advice, guidance, support, and management assistance in a timely and quality manner.

Determines the cause of unsafe conditions through procedure review, equipment and facilities inspection, and worker observation with corrective action recommendations provided
Regular liaison with internal and external safety professionals, creating Health and safety reports for senior management and attending safety meetings as well as ensuring all works was consistently delivered in accordance with current health and safety legislation and best business practice Implementation of project Safety, Health and Environmental plan Monitors policies, procedures, programs, standards, and design criteria affecting project construction safety Daily co-ordination and management of the Health, Safety & Environment team within the company to ensure that all work is undertaken efficiently and the highest level of quality is delivered on time Maintain a culture that allows all individuals and teams to provide positive input into Safety, Health and Environment in their workplace. Coordinate with Safety Manager for the effective implementation of the company’s Health and Safety Environment Plan Coordinate with the sub-contractors regarding the safe works method to be used on site. Investigates on accidents/incidents and prepares reports upon which correctives measures are applied Monitor and report on the health, safety and environmental aspects of the projects. Conducts inspection on sites and identify risks areas for recommendation to prevent possible accidents. Conducts on-site induction trainings for the new workers before going to work. Conducts daily observation reports to ensure that site safety rules and standards being followed. Coordinate with Project Manager/HSE Manager for the effective implementation of the company’s Health and Safety Environment Plan Coordinate with Project Manager/HSE Manager for the effective implementation of the company’s Integrated Management System in the project. Coordinate with the Site Engineer in advising the project management on o Improvement in existing working methods o Legal requirements affecting safety, health and welfare o Potential hazards before work starts Monitor and report on the health, safety and environmental aspects of the projects via info-exchange managed by client consultants (AECOM) Be responsible for reporting and recording accidents/incidents to HSE department by Collecting and formulating data from projects for inclusion in the monthly management report. Perform HSE audit/ inspection from time to time, conduct staff awareness training on a regular basis, monthly safety mtg.; advise monitor safe working practices. Prepare HSE plan and procedures. Improve HSE and Environmental awareness among all employees using standard training aids such as videos, posters, films, safety alerts handouts etc. Conduct safety Monitoring work processes to ensure compliance with the site environmental protection law of Qatar. Collect and share safety lessons learned with other sites and project and functional management. Ensuring PPE’s are being used in workplaces according to regulations. Implement lock out/ tag out procedure, isolation during pre- testing & commissioning of electrical Conduct an in-house staff awareness training/ course such as o MSDS awareness training o Use of Fire extinguisher o Confined Space Entry o Manual Handling o Work at height o Environmental awareness o Spill Response
Applies all Qatalum safety policy, rules, procedures, and standards in the project construction site and strictly implements safety rules to all personnel at the Site.
Actively participate in the scheduling of safety meetings across Company locations to review HSE
Performance and policies
Conduct Safety training needed for all HSE officer & Employee involving in the project
Review internal HSE policies and practices to ensure they are current and appropriate; conduct hazard and risk assessments and change existing, or develop new recommendations from these
assessments
Conducts Safety inspection on work site, equipments, hand and power tools, plants, lifting tackles, fire Extinguishers and follow up it for improvement.
Attends monthly progress meeting and share the HSE concerns with Subcontractor and management for action.
Attends site management weekly walk round inspection, Prepares the weekly Tool Box Topic for the project, Attends Weekly Tool box meeting and share the HSE concern with work force. And evaluate working condition and recommends improvements in safety and health method, practices and procedure.
