Platinum Corporation is the Group Headquarters of large sized multinational group with extensive business
interests in the Middle East and West African countries dealing in Commodities, Fish, Auto and Other products
(Over USD 600 Million turnover in 2006, employing over 3000 personnel all over Middle East & Africa).
Business Interests include Bulk Commodity Trading in Rice, Sugar, Edible Oils, Fertilizers, and Frozen Food
etc. The company is the sole representative in West Africa of the major brands of Automobiles - Honda,
Hyundai, Skoda, VW, Audi, and Mahindra. Other Business is in manufacturing of Plastics, Textile Yarns &
Assembly of Motor Bikes.
Responsibilities
As Manger Human Resources I was responsible for the HR function of the full group. In the Middle East apart
from HR also responsible for the full Administration, Commercial & Legal Aspects of the organization
* As Human Resources Manager, was fully responsible for all the HR related activities of the group
including recruitment, training & development, Performance Appraisals, compensation and benefits
management of all the personnel of the group.
* Recruitment & Selection of staff across various Divisions & Companies for group. Have done extensive
recruitment for various positions across various functions
* Travel extensively for Recruitment to countries in Middle East, India & Africa
* Organizational Development
* Employee Orientation, Induction & Counselling
* Formulation of Policies & Procedures and their implementation
* Implementing Performance Management System
* Formulate controls, Policies and procedures for the entire group. To design and implement strong
management reporting systems for the operations and the group headquarters.
* Employee services - Visa administration process in UAE including all the Free Zones & City. Totally
conversant with UAE Labour law and the rules and regulations of Visas in UAE
* Responsible for the Administration Function of the group.
* Responsible for the Legal & Commercial function including formation of companies in the UAE

employing more than 350 staff with offices all over UAE & abroad, having Diverse Business Units inclusive of
Trading in Fragrances, Cosmetics, Watches, leather goods and fashion accessories with exports spread all
over the world. Other Business units are in Hospitality & Entertainment Industry comprising of International
Collaboration Franchise of Restaurants & Coffee shops, Recent Diversification includes Opening of Spa &
Salons in Leading Star Hotels representing top brands of Europe.
Responsibilities
Responsible for all Human Resource activities, Administration, Planning and Coordination, Policies
and Procedures, Legal and Commercial activities.
* Overall Management of Human Resource function including recruitment and selection of Personnel for
various departments and leading a team of HR Executives

* Total responsibility of Visa administration formalities in the U.A.E - Dubai, Sharjah and all Free Zones
including Jebel Ali, Sharjah Airport Free Zone and Hamriyah Free Zone
* Supervision of Personnel including work allocation, training and problem resolution; evaluation
performance and make recommendations for personnel actions; motivate employees to achieve peak
productivity and performance.
* Manage the entire Administration Department leading the full department taking care of complete
Administration of the group and responsible for all Non Business activities under the group.
* Supervise the Legal and Commercial Department including issue and renewal of Trade Licenses and
complete documentation of company formations in the city and the free zones and all other
Government Documentation.
* Liasoning with Lawyers, all Government Departments like Economic Departments, Chamber of
Commerce, Courts, Ministries, and Offices of Free Zones
This North India based Company has a group turnover of INR 100 Crores (Approximately US$ 22 Millions).
The company deals in manufacturing and marketing of Industrial Gases, Air Conditioners and other Household
electrical appliances, Textiles, Real Estate, Hotel Industry, Investments and dealing in Stocks and Shares,
Financial Services, Restaurants having sole franchisee of an American Multinational chain in Casual Dining
Restaurants with outlets in India’s major Metros.
Responsibilities
● Manage the entire Human Resources Functions including formulation of Policies and procedures,
Recruitment and Selection, Training, Performance Evaluation, and overall control of the entire department.
● Complete management of the entire Administration department and responsible for the entire
Administration of the group
● Looking after Legal affairs of the Company including drafting of legal documentation, looking after legal
cases, following up with Lawyers, representing
● Besides all this, I assisted the CEO in implementing Policy decisions and controlling day to day affairs of
the entire group.
