Work in cooperation with the Group HR to plan, develop, and implement strategy for HR
management and development including; recruitment and selection policy/practices,
discipline, grievance, counselling, pay and conditions, contracts, training and development,
succession planning, morale and motivation, culture, performance appraisals and quality
management issues.

• Comply with all processes and procedures (Human Resources, HSEQ, Finance, Information

• Develop, with line managers, HR planning strategies, which consider immediate and long-
term staffing requirements in terms of numbers and skill levels. Ensure that all recruitment

• Work in cooperation with the Group HR to develop and implement succession planning
strategies to ensure a seamless service through nurturing in-house talent. Also use
succession planning to increase employee retention and protect the company from the loss
of key employees.
• Interpret and advise on employment and statutory legislation.
• Consistently monitor processes, systems, and procedures to drive continuous improvement.
• Hear grievances and implement the disciplinary procedure. Support and advice line
managers who are implementing the disciplinary procedure.
• Proactively manage change using appropriate HR interventions to facilitate change,
including: training, coaching, mentoring, counselling, introduction of new processes, and
policies and procedures.
