 Liaising with various cross-functional teams such as Project, Legal, Accounts & Corporate Teams as well as Contractors, Clients, and other Stakeholders to streamline business operations and developed an effective proposal through strategic negotiations
 Submitting proposal, presenting, and finalizing tender documents; replying to clients’ post-contract/tender queries/clarifications
 Mapping project requirements and selecting contractors/subcontractors through strategic negotiation with effective cost savings
 Developing contract structure and value proposition to map clients’ credentials & resource as per the scope of work, managing contracts & sub-contracts (Technical Reviews, Steering Committees, Payment & Annual Contract Review)
 Preparing in house budgetary Estimated cost for any project along with Request for Quotation (RFQ) documents to be floated to the selected Bidders after necessary due diligence
 Preparing Subcontract Agreement to the Bidder after due diligence (Survey of Bidder financial & Technical capabilities in current market and to know the bidder expertise/experience regarding the scope of work under award) & based on the Bidder quotation
 Leading the team & ensuring Performance Bank Guarantees, Advance payment Guarantees, Insurances, and all other such statutory requirements are met for both Client (for our scope of work) and as well from Subcontractors (for their scope of work)
 Preparing & submitting extension of time, cost claims, defense against claims, contract amendments, identification & leverage of contractual opportunities through change request management
 Organizing & leading Project Meetings and negotiated for contractual issues & contract archives (baseline, correspondence & claims)
 Controlling & managing risk while ensuring compliance with guidelines & procedures; assessing contracts to identify functional gaps; developing plans to mitigate risk for each risk elements
 Ensuring implementation of safety regulations at site; guiding & monitoring project teams as per the HSE guidelines

The Overall Project of TEPNG Comprises of:

 The Joint Venture (JV) onshore projects are located at the Oil Mining License (OML) 58 Block on the Nigeria onshore, approximately 85 km Northwest of Port Harcourt comprising of the following existing facilities:
 OBAGI FS (Flow Station)
 OBITE TC (Treatment Centre)
 IBEWA PC (Production Centre)
 Various clusters and oil and gas wells
 Oil and gas gathering flow lines, from wells and well clusters to plants
 Interconnecting facilities
 The total production capacity of the existing facilities is about a10.65 Mega Standard Cubic Metre per Day (MMSCMD) of export gas and 35, 000 BOPD of oil and condensate.
 Total Exploration and Production Nigerian Limited (TEPNG) operate the facilities on behalf of a joint venture between TEPNG and NNPC (Nigerian National Petroleum Company).
 The main objectives of the OML58 Upgrade Phase 1 Projects include:
 To increase the gas export capacity to 15.65 MMSCMD of marketable gas.
 To develop an additional gas export pipeline to transport the additional gas from OBITE to UBETA and then to RUMUJI. This pipeline project is known as the OUR Project.
 To develop an Independent Power Plant (lPP) project close to OBITE Treatment Centre. The required gas for the IPP (2.5 MMSCD) will be supplied by the Upgraded facilities.

Key Result Areas:
 Established the contractual procedures, in coordination with the technical teams and in compliance with Company system of reference, the local constraints, and the eventual “synergy” action plans defined by Company head office
 Managed the settlement of claims by proposing strategies and actions and by participating to the negotiations
 Devised & implemented pricing and contracting policies including the review and approval of business actions
 Led the Team of QS of each package and ensure continuity of Contract management as per management decisions
 Prepared initial stage budgets and detailed cost plans for COMPANY other projects which consist of on shore and Offshore construction in Oil and Gas, hotel, residential (High Rise), Government, Institutional and community facilities and Site Wide Infrastructure (Bridge, Tunnel, Underpass, Roads, all type utilities)
 Drafted & vetted Various Contract Agreement with General and Particular Conditions according to the requirement of the project
 Prepared every type of Contract form according to law regulated in the Country, according to the FIDIC Contract, and as per the specific requirement and as per the nature of the job which includes all pre-tendering processes and afterwards

Significant Achievements:
•Led the team in the successful completion and commissioning of: -
•The huge lift water supply schemes with a rising main of 20 Km
•Various projects of Lift Irrigation & as well as Major Project of Town sewerage
•Various Building & Roads projects required for the above cited project

Civil

Significant Achievements:
•Successfully led all the Contract Management (Pre-Tender as well post tender) and contract administration activities during the construction
•Completed the construction of all the facilities without any accident and well in contract time period
•Successfully executed capital purchase of various Machines like CNC, Various Lathes, Drilling, Milling, etc. And have also commissioned them on the shop floor
