Engineering & Management of EPC piping / pipeline projects in Oil/Gas, LNG & Petrochemical industries such as: SATORP, ARAMCO, SEC & MA’ADEN.
Working on development of piping plans & routing layouts in accordance with ARAMCO/ASME Standards. Management & supervision of a team of Engineering/Design personnel for preparation of engineering deliverables, basic engineering/design/analysis in line with standard specifications for the handover of Oil/Gas piping/pipeline projects within the specified schedules & budgets. Involved in Custody metering skids, Gas dehydration units, Oil storage & facilities, chemical injection, oil/gas/water separation & process facilities.

• SATORP package 8 Pipeline & Export facilities: SAR 1.6 Billion - Jubail, KSA.
• Construction of Qassim Crude Oil Pipeline: SAR 476 million - Qassim, KSA.
• Wassit Gas Plant D/S Pipeline & Facilities: SAR 305 million - Wassit, KSA.
• Sales Gas Pipeline from KGP to Raas-al-khair: SAR 250 million - Raas-al-Khair, KSA.

Management & coordination of major shutdown projects (Off-shore) for ADGAS LNG plant, pipeline & facilities in Das Island, Abu Dhabi, (UAE).
Inspection of plant/piping/pipeline facilities in accordance with International Codes/standards.
Coordination of Engineering/Inspection activities, Safety reviews, QA/QC reviews & assessments. Supervision of PMT discipline engineers: Mechanical, Piping, Process, Instrumentation & NDT Inspectors for the shutdown program in line with standard specifications & handover of project within the specified schedule & budget. Preparation of Executive summary reports, Progress reports, Engineering meetings, Budget reviews, Engineering reviews, Interface issues & liaison with sub-contractors & vendors.
Inspection of sub-sea pipeline leakage, corrosion & repair/replacement of piping/pipeline/facilities.
Inspection of Boilers, Tanks, Vessels, Sumps, Columns, Heat Exchangers, Stacks, Seal Legs, Valves (NRVs PSVs). Pre-Shutdown safety reviews, permit issues & approvals, Hazop/Hazard studies/analysis, pre-start-up safety reviews, risk assessments, environmental safety reviews & final handover of plant within the specified schedule & budget.
Involved in mobilization & demobilization of personnel & equipment to site in Das Island & back to base in Dubai (UAE).

Management & coordination of IPMT Engineering team for Oil/Gas pipelines & facilities for IOCL in Rajasthan Oil fields (North India).
Working on development of piping plans & routing layouts in accordance with International standards. Coordination of Engineering activities, FEED, Basic Engineering/Design & LLIs in line with standard specifications for the handover of projects within the specified schedules & budgets. Tender preparation, bid evaluation & selection of contractors for the projects. Preparation of executive summary reports, progress reports, engineering meetings, budget reviews, design reviews, feasibility studies, Interface issues & liaison with contractors & vendors for the efficient resolution of Engineering, Design & Construction issues.

Management & coordination of a team of Design/Engineers in Oil/Gas piping & distribution systems in the world class Oil/Gas exploration company. Involved in Oil/Gas piping projects of over $100million budgets, including Well development programs, Well-head surface facilities, Well manifolds & Routing plans. Approval of Design for Construction projects for Khuff Gas routing plans & Gas dehydration Units (GDU-2005/2007). Pipeline system design in accordance with international standards & codes of practice: API, ANSI, ASME. Supervision and management of Project/Design Engineers, Contractors & Vendors activities for the handover of projects within the specified time schedule & budgets. Involved in Engineering meetings, design reviews & liaison with Contractors & Vendors for the efficient resolution of design & construction issues. Involved in Plant/Process safety review & procedures (PSM), Hazard studies, pre-start-up safety reviews, risk assessments & site safety approval.

Plant/piping projects Engineering & Management of North Sea Oil & Refinery plant. Sub-sea piping layouts for on/offshore routing, mechanical components & structural design. Project management & coordination of design projects for Shell Oil, RWE/DEA, North Sea Oil & Mobil. Involved in site inspections & supervision. Writing & updating projects planning reports & engineering specifications. Resolving outstanding Engineering & Design issues, plant safety, standards & regulations, flow analysis, risk assessment & HAZOP studies. Modification & approval of Engineering drawings to ASME, ANSI, API & International standards.

Design projects & proposals for plant piping, pressure vessels, boiler design to clients’ specifications. Carried out process calculation (pressure drop, pipe sizing etc.) stress analysis of piping systems including high pressure feed water and steam lines to ANSI B31 and BS806 using PSA5. General arrangement and layout of pipe work, heat exchangers application and assembly. Working with a team of Design Engineers on Plant Layout, Boiler design, P&IDs, site inspection and liaison of projects for Petrochemical, Power Generation, Food Products and Paper Manufacturing Industries.
