Performing the purchasing of equipment, services, and supplies as directed by the department Manager and the Purchasing Committee.
•Following and enforcing RHAS' procurement policies & procedures and the donors' requirements and regulations.
•Preparing all procurement documents according to RHAS' procurement policies & procedures and donors' requirements.
•Reviewing, comparing, analyzing, and approving products and services to be purchased in coordination with relevant departments.
•Documenting the procurement department's activities.
•Maintaining and updating suppliers' database with relevant information, such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, evaluation scores, etc.
•Researching and evaluating prospective suppliers.
•Preparing procurement department's progress report and reviewing a variety of procurement related documents, contracts, communications, guidelines, instructions, etc.; contributing to/ preparing responses to auditors; participating in the development of new procedures, standards, policies and training.
•Managing, developing work plans and assessing the performance of his/her subordinate staf; providing coaching, mentoring and capacity building
•Overseeing adherence to contractual agreements, recommending amendments and extensions of contracts and advising concerned parties on contractual rights and obligations.
•Conducting and managing market research to keep abreast of market developments; researching and analyzing statistical data and market reports on the local and national commodity situation, production patterns and availability of good and services; identifying new technologies and products/services, evaluating and recommends potential supply sources and participating in the incorporation of research results into the procurement program; formulating approaches and designing innovative solutions to resolve issues/ conflicts for complex procurement projects.
•Advising requisitioning units on the full range of procurement issues, providing support and guidance at all stage of the procurement cycle; establishing and maintaining work program and schedule for ongoing contracts and newly-planned ones in consultation with requisitioning units to ensure the delivery of goods and services is made in timely manner.
•Participating in negotiations with suppliers.
Camp Assist the Admin Manger and Project Managers in ensuring that the day to day running administration is done in an eficient and cost-efective manner while keeping in mind legal considerations and donor requirements where necessary. Reporting to the Admin Manager and the Project Manager. In charge of property management, procurement of goods and services (with coordination of the Procurement Coordinator), transport and logistics. Provide support and answers to questions related to administration, counsel and advice, and deal with customers with maturity, tact, and diplomacy.
Oficer as a Freelancer
•Search and updated best legal local market suppliers, handle the quotes requests in the national market, and prepare the Bid Summaries, Comparison charts, Waivers and Purchase orders.
•Evaluate vendors by providing performance reports on vendors and maintaining them on file.
•Write the meeting and negotiation minutes, and represent logistics department as needed.
•Coordinated with finance to ensure correct payments, and Provide Logistical support to all programs in compliance with IMC's standard logistics procedures and ensure delivery as per request.
Handle procurement for in-kind grants, including determining procurement requirements, identifying the most appropriate procurement alternative, inspecting goods, or verifying services, and monitoring the use and disposition of goods.
• Research: The e-services and governing of Greater Amman Municipality, under the MEU’s second International Conference of “Strategic Awareness and Governance” with Association of Arab Universities Governance.
