The Doha North Sewage Treatment Plant and Associated Works is a world class, multi-billion Riyal
project complete with state of the art technology and civil engineering feats to be accomplished within
a 36 month timeframe. Once the first phase is operational, the treatment facilities and infrastructure
will provide upgraded services to a projected population of over 900, 000 residents in Doha and the
surrounding area. During the construction of this phase, critical infrastructure will be built to enable
the facility to cater to an ultimate population of 1, 200, 000 residents. The Project is divided into 4
packages and awarded to 4 different Contractors.
4.1.4 Duties and Responsibilities:
Review and Editing of Civil and Architectural Shop Drawings, Construction Drawings and As-built
Drawings to Ashghal, Preparation of Detailed Drawings and As-built record drawings for the
Consultant, Progress updates, Maintaining Drawing Registers etc.
The Work includes review and editing shop drawings and as-built drawings of 64 major structures
Pipelines, Roads and landscaping in this project including Civil, Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical
and ICA works.
Additional Responsibilities: In charge of maintaining records of RFIAs, and revisions of Approvel for
construction drawing which numbered more than 2500.

Interceptor Sewer CP 682/3a & Ductile Iron Pipe Supply-Additional Works includes:
Interceptor Sewers: 33.4 km of sewers ranging in size from 1, 000 mm diameter to 2, 400 mm
diameter to be installed at a depth of 18m to 37m by micro tunneling and pipe jacking, 108
Maintenance/Junction Shafts etc.
Rising Mains: 9000 m of a 3 x 1, 600 mm diameter ductile iron Rising Main and associated
valve chambers
Treated Sewage Effluent (TSE) Mains: 500m of a 2 x 1600mm diameter ductile iron main,
7, 300 m of 800 mm diameter ductile iron mains; Washout pipelines and associated valve
chambers and Road works

Review and Editing of Civil and Architectural Shop Drawings, Construction Drawings and As-
built Drawings to Ashghal, Preparation of Detailed Drawings and As-built record drawings for
the Consultant, Progress updates, Maintaining Drawing Registers etc.
The Work includes review and editing shop drawings and as-built drawings of Pipelines
installed by micro tunnelling and open cut, shafts, valve chambers, construction of Roads and
utilities supports in this project including Civil and Mechanical works. Preparing drawing in
support of Road opening permits.
Additional Responsibilities: In charge of uploading scanned records and documents to clients
database (Primavera)
