The purpose of the role:
Responsible for the management and collection of all delinquent accounts within Cards portfolios with the objective of driving and embedding collections strategies with the collections officers - mainly tele-calling collection officers to bring indebted customer back to order.
Responsible for managing the resources to ensure collection targets are met
Ensure monitoring and control of out of order accounts and take appropriate collection action to normalize the position, within pre-determined policy rules and laid down strategies.
The overall objective of the role is to ensure completion of appropriate and timely collection actions by collectors prevent the account rolling over to the next delinquency bucket and being relegated to debt collection agents
• Manage and oversee the collection process for outstanding debts within the bank.
• Develop strategies for effective recovery of delinquent accounts.
• Coordinate with clients to establish repayment plans and negotiate settlements.
