-Meet QA Officers, production and store team to inspect facilities for compliance with standards, determining methods to resolve any issues that arise. Provide technical suggestions on product safety.

-Verify labeling and packaging as per weights and measures and FSSAI specification.
-Monitoring of process water quality. Monitor handling and storage procedures of raw materials, Packaging materials, online and finished products throughout the supply chain.
-Verify monitoring of CCPs and Quality / process control points to ensure finished product quality
-Verify monitoring incoming and dispatch vehicle inspections to ensure food safety.
-Coordination with external lab for process equipment calibration, raw material, finished product and water analysis.
-Monitor and conduct shelf-life study of finished product.
-Review and amendment of the Food safety documents and all amendments, Standardize and document Control of SOPs, Formats, Checklists and BRC Manual etc.
-Involved in new product development-Flavored tortillas and Naans.

To develop the system, Implementation & review of Documents, FSMS Documents as per ISO22000:2005 standards. Perform the function of Deputy Food Safety Team leader in the organization.
To coordinate and conduct internal and external third party audits of ISO, Kosher, HALAL & SGF, PepsiCo Supplier Quality assurance Standard, Mother Dairy supplier audit.
Identify training need of employees and conduct in-house training for food safety.
Look after the Hygiene and sanitation practices in the plant facility during day to day activities.
Preparation of Internal / external / customer/supplier Audit Schedule, plan and its conduction.
Conduction of Management review meeting and follow up of the decisions taken.
Review and finalization of the flow charts, their hazard analysis and determination of CCP.
Approve and maintain specifications of raw material and finished products as per local legislation, customer requirements and importing countries legislations.
Ensuring Calibration status of various analytical instruments/ equipment used in production and laboratories.
Conducting monthly GMP and infrastructure audits. Reporting all the major food safety incidences to the management to take necessary corrective / preventive actions.
Ensure proper pest control management is operational and maintained.
Respond to customer questionnaires and technical queries.
Assist VP Process Food in technical and process related issues.
Supervise Quality and maintenance (preventive) activities performed by concerned department officers and executive and report it to concerned department managers and VP Process food.
