• Manage/Supervise the construction of Utilities Plant Air System, that is, installation of Gear Type Air Compressors, Air Dryers, Instrument Air Buffer Vessels, Air Aftercoolers, Air Compressor Cooling System & associated piping and supports.

• Manage/Supervise the construction of Steam Super Heater, that is, installation of Economizer, High Pressure Evaporator, Super Heater Module, Steam Drum, Force Draught Fans, Smoke Stack, Twenty units Burners, Fuel Gas Skid, Ammonia Vaporization Skid, Cooling Air Skid and Piping Systems.

• Supervise the alignment of Motors and Air Compressors using Laser Alignment Tools. Ensure that the alignment, pipe flange parallelism, motor soft foot and pipe strain are within the tolerable limits.

• Supervise the installation of Gas Turbine including the associated Gearbox, 47.6 MVA rating Generator and Starting Equipment.

• Supervise the installation of Steam Turbine including the 50.5 MVA rating Generator and Auxiliary Equipment such as Air Cooled Steam Condenser and Condensate Pumps.

• Prepare and develop Exception Item Lists and Mechanical Completion Certificate as a final stage of the project for Saudi Aramco Proponent acceptance.

• Ensure that pre-welding & weld joint fit-up including flame cutting, arc-air gouging, plasma cutting, buttering, joint-weld metal build-up are with the Saudi Aramco acceptance criteria, such as, welding procedures, joint fit-up clearances, tolerances for holes cut for set-on-nozzles and bosses or branch connections.

• Ensure that pipe field bending will conformed within the Saudi Aramco established parameters, such as, maximum permissible localized bend or “bite” at one place on the pipe and the minimum spacing of such bites, pipe diameter of the preformed bend is not reduced by more than 2½% of the nominal pipe diameter, overall bend radius.

• Ensure that all pipelines, including all joints or sections of pipeline are holiday tested immediately before backfilling/covering; radiographic, ultrasonic and magnetic particle tests as required.

• Ensure that Hydrotesting of pipeline and stationary equipment are complying with the established Hydrotesting Procedure, from properties of testing medium to be used, filling up & thermal stabilization, pressurization & stabilization, strength test & tightness test, and dewatering & drying.

• Develop and produce system and sub-system Mechanical Completion Dossiers, Commissioning and Operations & Maintenance procedures. Using guidelines identified within the Project wide Mechanical Completion Manual as per SAUDI ARAMCO standards and procedures.

• Submit of package System / Sub-system to Saudi Strategic Storage Program/Saudi Aramco for approval upon completion of Maintenance Procedures and other attachments such us Data Sheets, Vendor Documents, Manufacturer’s Drawings and related checklist for conducting Maintenance.

• Determine equipment spare parts quantities through Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) method, specifically for mechanical equipment and encode the identified spare parts information to SAUDI ARAMCO database.

• Make final evaluation of all mechanical equipment’s Spare Parts List and Interchangeable Record (SPLIR) documents and make necessary computation using Off-Shore Reliability Data (OREDA) reference, as the basis in obtaining the required spare parts quantity within two (2) year operation.

• Identify equipment redundancy and determine the basis of Spare Part Levels for the Vital and Critical System. The level of redundancy will then determine the requirement for complete units or sub-assemblies.

• Determine Contingency Spare parts or complete units for immediate replacement in the event of an emergency. These parts may be required underground to ensure immediate availability. Highlight through the stores system the recommended emergency contingency Spare Parts that will not effect the normal stock rotation and shelf life of the recommended Spare Parts.

• Prepare Structural, Piping, HVAC and Mechanical Equipment scope of works into workable Job Package.

• Estimate Job Package per trade by using the agreed estimating norms.
