Marketed / Sold 100th s of generators (Olympian and Caterpillar having Perkins & CAT engines and Leroy Somers Alternators) from 9.5kVA up to 2000 kVA rating along with other related electrical equipment’s like switchgears (ABB), synchronization panels (Deep Sea/Woodward), auto transfer panels (ATS) (Olympian/Caterpillar), manual changeover panels (locally fabricated).
•Forecasting for assigned area/range of genset size. Project costing.
•Prepared Project proposals against Tenders or as per customer requirements.
•Suggestion to the senior manager for order with manufacturers. Sales promotion activities.
•Enhancing sales performance by sharing quote record with seniors and getting advice.
•Working with Sales Coordinator and logistics for Inventory control, PDI, PRI of the products, invoicing, products’ delivery, and customer track records.
•Brought so many product support/after sales/spare parts/maintenance contracts of generators other than Caterpillar like Cummins, F G Wilson, Perkins having Stamford alternator, Deutz, Mitsubishi, Wartsila, JCB, Man Diesel and Turbo, Volvo, Scania, Waukesha, Honda, Doosan, Kohler, Himoinsa, SDMO, Aksa, Jet, Moropcco, Kirlosker, Aggreko, Atlas Copco, Mega, Ingersoll Rand, Manlift Group, etc to the company as part of business development.
Technical Skills/Responsibilities:
•Executed 10s of installation of diesel generator sets as per Caterpillar recommendations.
•Load calculation of a site, advising genset size, cable sizing for power and control of a genset, advice on ATSs, transformer, day tank size, switch gears, synchronization, load testing and other related installation/application queries.
•Sales and technical report writing. Making compliance report for technical comparison.
•Reviewing customer drawings, reading single line diagram, plans and other documents in order to prepare detailed technical proposal for them.
•Supervised startup, commissioning and load testing. Advising on warranty related issues.
Scheduling the service team for the allocated jobs.
•Making follow up with the customer and service team.
•To check whether the warranty is offered for the faulty parts by the manufacturer or not?
•Issuing the parts from parts department to the gensets under warranty.
