Program focus: The development of concepts, knowledge and skills that enables successful participants to become experts in the area of information security, internet crime prevention, and digital crime investigation. Program goal: To develop highly qualified technical experts to meet the demands of the national, regional and international workplace for information and network security. Program courses: The curriculum is designed to combine a rich theoretical foundation with a strong laboratory component to provide lifelong learning capabilities and marketable skills for today‘s job market. The computer laboratory facilities supporting many of the courses consist of the state-of-the-art equipment, combining the best of breed in hardware and software platforms. The aim is to give a firsthand experience with many of the tools in demand today.
Program focus: Develop advanced knowledge in computer science and high-quality research, both theoretical and applied while allowing prompt response to the needs of the community and collaboration with the industry in terms of research and training. Program goal: To establish the ability to apply knowledge of computing and mathematics appropriate to the discipline, and to analyze a problem, identify and define the computing requirements appropriate to its solution. Program courses: Includes various fields such as Algorithms, Computer Architecture, Operating Systems, Computer Networks, Theories of Programming Languages, Artificial Intelligence, and Database Management Systems and others. These fields provide the essential principles of the computer system and how it operates through theoretic and scientific lectures.
