Masiya is system integrator offers consulting development, IT/Telecommunication integration and implementation services for Masiya/partners’ products and solutions.
Responsible as System engineer for projects planning, delivery and management in addition to support activities in below Arenas:
• Play lead/Project coordinator role in activities related to upgrades and systems migration.
• Effectively tailor a solution that is optimum combination of hardware, software, and services meet the customer's needs and satisfy his business goals
• Infrastructure design, implementation and support for Telecom/IT enterprises (Zain, VIVA and Wataniya, Géant, NSN, Huawei and REDKNEE):
o Infrastructure sizing, design and implementation (Servers, Storages, Load balancers and other network and SAN elements)
o Cluster, Virtualization (VMware, Oracle VM) planning, implementation and configuration.
o Backup/DR systems design, installation and configuration
• System delivery/support and implementation for various telecom VAS systems in Middle East and Africa (HW& application):
o SMSC, Anti-SPAM, MMSC, WAP Gateway, DMS (OTA) and messaging gateway
o Live Streaming (Mobile/IP TV) and Media optimizer
o Roaming Steering Solutions: Welcome SMS/Preferred Network
• Contribute to project plan development and tracking/following up project tasks progress.
• Responsible for overall system delivery and support on the Hardware, Operating system(s) and VAS Application(s) and backup solution in the area responsible for
• Provide 24x7 on call system support to all customers to solve any kind of issue related to the system(s) in the area responsible for
• Generate system implementation/support documents that would be the reference document for Implementation/support team while integrating new systems/services.
• Ensure process documentation is accurately maintained
• Help technically on new opportunity by carefully study the customer business model, perform site surveys, consult with clients to gather business requirements and deal technical evaluation

• Working with sales team to provide presentations and demonstrations

• Working with Vendors to qualify opportunities and convert leads into successful engagements. As well as proactively support an opportunity pipeline to drive potential opportunities through the sales process to closure
• Support the WAN and work closely with ISP's on troubleshooting, travel to remote Data Centers as needed
• Configuring and supporting E1 multiplexers
• Configuring and supporting Cisco routers and L2/L3 switching equipment
• Prepares network diagrams and drawings to document and assist in communicating design and operation status of networks
• Prepares informational and technical reports
• Configuring and supporting DSU/CSU data modems for WAN connection
• Configuring and supporting Audio codec for Radio stations projects
• Configuring and supporting ISDN connections
• Responds to 24-hour calls for emergency technical assistance to return network communications to operational mode.
