Presently working for ADMA-OPCO as Inspection Engineer-Material (On Contract) from 22.08.2012 till date.

Job Responsibilities:
• Inspection of equipment/material procured by ADMA OPCO to ensure compliance to purchase order requirement, item description, ADMA OPCO Standards/Specs and international specification and standards.
• Review & approval of ITP, QP, WPS/PQR, and other construction procedures for Drilling, Static, Rotating and Refurbished Equipment.
• Responsible for ensuring that all Material, Equipment and Services have been provided as per the Contract so as to minimize the risk of material and equipment failures in the field when the equipment and services are used.
• Visual/dimensional inspection, coating inspection and material/component traceability as per approved drawing, international Stds, P.O. description, company standard/specification & code of practice.
• Witnessing of laboratory testing viz. tensile test, chemical analysis (PMI spectrometer analysis), Charpy impact, hardness survey, Macro-etch, HIC, SSCC (Sulphide stress corrosion cracking test), HIC test and evaluation of NDE (UT, MPI, PT, RT) examination.
• Witnessing of drift test, pressure test and functional test for Drilling/down hole and Wellhead equipment.
• Reviewing TPI Inspection reports, test certificates & inspection release note on regular basis.
• Witnessing of coating inspection, functional test and Factory Acceptance Test (FAT).
• Thread Gauging and visual/NDE inspection of API and Premium threads (VAM, TENARIS).
• Review and endorsing of Material test certificate and other allied test reports.
• Verification of equipment for hazardous area, explosion proof/ingress protection certificates and calibration certificates for electrical/instrument components.
• Review of final dossier, final as-built drawing and GRN approval in Maximo.
• Witness hydrostatic pressure test, NDE (UT/MPI/DPT), inspection for refurbished heat exchangers and review of RT films/reports.
• Witness repair and pressure testing of refurbished isolation and control valves.
• Preparation of monthly Inspection statistics report and submission to Team Leader.
• Assisting in the training, development and familiarization of UAE junior nationals.

Experience at different locations:
• As a Senior Surveyor at Bureau Veritas is involved in the inspection of Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Piping, Structures, Calm Buoy, Semi-submersible Rigs, Skids, GRE, GRP pipes & fittings at various Fabrication workshops in Abu Dhabi, inspection of materials, witness to dimensional checks, review of NDT reports and Radiographs, witness of mechanical and chemical testing at laboratories, witness of WPS/PQR, Welders Performance Qualification test, witness of hydro tests for vessels and piping, review of documents in compliance with applicable Specifications, Codes and Standards. Surface preparation and DFT checking of finished items. Inspection for the various jobs involved clients like ADNOC, TAKREER, ADMA- OPCO, GASCO, NPCC etc.

• As a Material Inspection Engineer - Integrity Dept for ADMA - OPCO (Seconded to ADMA-OPCO by Bureau Veritas) at their Musaffah Base from May 2008 to March 2009 and also from April 2007 to August 2007. The job involved receiving inspections of onshore, offshore, drilling and maintenance material and equipment like Lifting equipment, Electrical and Instrumentation equipment, Valves, Wellhead equipment, OCTG etc and all tangible goods/material purchase by ADMA-OPCO and ZADCO. Review of test documents, test certificates and all related manufacturing documentation to confirm compliance in line with Purchase Orders, Contract Specifications, ADMA - OPCO Standards and other International Codes & Standards. Physical check of all material and equipment. Acceptance or Rejection of material and equipment. Liaise with Logistic personnel for the inspections. Prepare NCR’S and Reports of discrepancies on MAXIMO Software package and resolution of discrepancies with related departments, vendors/suppliers and manufacturers.

Interpretation of Radiographs, Inspection of piping work for offshore facilities which are installed on oil well hookups, platforms & wellhead towers, Organize and plan for NDT required on various jobs in the yard on a day to day basis. Surface preparation and DFT checking of finished items.
Co-ordinating with Clients like ADMA-OPCO, ADNOC, ADCO, ZADCO, ARAMCO, Technip, SBM, IMODCO, BLUEWATER, Third Party Inspectors & Authorized Inspectors for stagewise and final inspection of items.
Maintain and update QC Manual (ASME) and related Company Work Procedures. Carry out Internal Audits on various Depts. and assisting Group QA Engineer in matters related to Quality Management System.
