• Conceptual Design: Design Phase meetings with relevant parties. Inspect site and check existing site conditions. Analyze Development Control Regulations. Review Design Brief against design constraints. Prepare Sketches and Drawings demonstrating Designs.
• Preliminary Design Phase: Review Preliminary Design, Revise Preliminary design brief from Concept design brief including all updated information. Prepare preliminary Design work time Schedule. Confirm Compliances with Consultants. Prepare Architectural Preliminary Design Drawings.
• Design Development: Update Developed Design Brief and Documents register. Review and Verify match of other Design and Engineering drawings to Architectural Drawings. Confirm Consultants Drawings. Review all Plans, Elevations, and Sections. Prepare Details of Typical construction.
• Detailed Design Phase: Coordinate and check developed design drawings from other disciplines with architectural drawings. Fully dimension all elements and datum. Prepare Architectural detailed Design Drawings.
• Construction Phase: Prepare Architectural Construction Drawings incorporating changes.
Duties:
Involved in the planning, design and construction of buildings.
Preparing layouts, drawings and preliminary sketches.
Providing clear and unambiguous direction to members of the project team.
Writing Reports, Site Visits and small-scale Project Management.
Carry out 3D designs or 2D designs as required.
Visiting sites and building relationships with site managers.
Liaising with sub-contractors to ensure compliance with order documentation.
