I was tasked to establish Project Office for the newly established Customer Group Industry & Society (I&S) for
full visibility of operational and financial status of all running projects in all accounts to the top management
and stakeholders through monthly governance forums and reports. It was a challenge due to time constraints
and I not only successfully established the PO rather walked extra mile and supported the Global organization
for establishing proper measurement KPIs and Governance forums for the entire company. Along with I&S
RMEA PO I was actively involved in establishing I&S Global governance structure to share my experience of
RMEA I&S PO.
Additionally, I also led RMEA Operations Strategic program TPEQ (Transform Project Execution Quality). The
TPEQ Program was initiated in 2015 to improve projects from deals to conclusion under the umbrella of RMEA
OPS “I.C.T” strategy. This strategic program was launched with an objective to define a systematic end-to-end
approach ensuring that key criterion during Presales and Delivery stages are objectively addressed ensuring
excellence and enhance profitability through Change management framework to enforce scope control,
manage & record all changes and increase Add-on-Sales (AoS). The program resulted in improvement of AoS
from 0.7% to 5.3% in one year.
Alongside the PO I also deployed the first VoLTE trial network of Public Safety for MOD Pakistan. The project
was based on latest Virtualized Core platforms for VoLTE network with Interoperability features with other
operators. The trial was successfully completed in August 2017.
In July 2014, considering the exponential business growth, Iran was demerged from Turkey for Operations and
I was appointed as the first Head of Operations (PRS) to establish this new organization for upcoming business.
In this appointment, I successfully launched proper scale 3G and LTE in the country for both major Operators
of Iran; MTN Irancell & MCI and performed successful NSN Swap in the Capital city Tehran. With embargo and
other sanctions, it was an uphill task as no local expertise was available in the company or the ASPs. I took this
challenging task and arranged resources & some ASP teams from Turkey & Pakistan. These teams delivered
and trained local teams for flawless execution. We successfully completed the project we received from MCI
(3G & LTE) in last 5 years.
Additionally, as Head of Customer Project Managers (CPMs) I groomed and mentored CPMs to independently
handle the future businesses considering localization and cost control. I arranged trainings for accreditation
of presales team, and certifications of CPMs. I reshaped the organization for the forecasted business from
existing operators as well as the third operator in the country.

multiple issues and isolations of different streams, I was asked to take over as MS Chief Operations Officer to
transform all the streams NPO, ND, NI and BO into one cohesive team to achieve the contractual KPIs. I started
building one cohesive team and over achieved the Q2 results. Unfortunately, due to MCI internal interests the
contract was de-scoped from Ericsson to in-house team. I closed the contracts by agreeing on an achieved
aggregated KPI of 38% against a target of 20% at the end of Q2 and completed the final invoicing.
