Having In-depth knowledge of ATC System architecture and subsystems interfaces and thorough knowledge of vehicle ATC test plan requirements, complete understanding of vehicle ATC system specifications and Hardware architecture specifications, detailed design hardware requirements.
Key Functional Areas: As ATC Expert (O&M support)
Assist the Maintenance Manager in the review of the ATC Maintenance Plan, suggesting any modification that can improve the reliability and availability of the ATC System.
Support O&M team with technical assistance during failure analysis, trouble shooting and identification of fault with the aim of increasing the maintainers’ knowledge and capabilities.
Identify any training needs of the O&M staff proposing additional theoretical training or on the job activities in coordination with the Training Manager and the Maintenance Manager.
Monitor the performance of the ATC system and lead the implementation of any corrective action.
Key Functional Areas: As ATC Vehicle Test Engineer (Commissioning)
Performed and completed all functional level type testing, Routine Installation & Site Acceptance testing.
Perform Vehicle ATC Software verification testing.
ATC Subsystem interface Testing from vehicle with Wayside, Central and System level testing.
Hands on real-time troubleshooting vehicle ATC System, fault analysis and reporting fail case scenario.
Issuing fitness confirmation to the vehicles for passenger service.
Management of onsite testing & commissioning records and reports.
Well versed with Ansaldo-STS -Automatic train control system/Positive train control systems product line - Microlok®-II, Microcab® -II on board system.
Ensure the safety at workplace by assess risks from work to be undertaken and define appropriate measures to control the risks.
Troubleshooting and fault finding during commissioning.
Leading system integration from the Rolling Stock side.
Coordinate and perform modification activities for Rolling Stock with design team in Malaysia.
Worked as team member for Rescue operation, RAMS and Hazard Log.
Preparations of Operations and Maintenance manuals.
Develop and implement Testing & commissioning procedures for execution as per set specifications.
Co-ordinate with Depot and all other departments for safe and uninterrupted service of trains.
Mentor the team in understanding the monorail systems and train control functions.
Ensure continuous improvements by suggesting & implementing various modifications in the Rolling Stock & to achieve world class standards.
Conduct a detailed System level analysis, which helped to narrow down potential causes on fault tree.
Planning and scheduling the Site installation and commissioning activities.
Accounts for all materials used in performance of prototype equipment installation, modification and repair.
Involved in Testing and Commissioning of EMU train project.
Troubleshooting and fault finding during commissioning and revenue service of trains.
Responsible for the Modification in the system like hardware, firmware and update the system software.
Fault finding and provide solution to the problem occurs during braking .( Brake System)
Trouble shooting of LV\HV equipment such as transformer, inductor, and traction motors and related circuitry such as Contactor, relay panels.
Responsible for trial run and issuing the conformation for passenger fitness of train.
Issuing daily progress report to the customer for maintains a regular work routine.
Co-ordination with the Western Railway officials, supplying equipments & working for day-to-day affair for revenue service trains.
