Was Responsible of the Core Banking System Phase II transformation program into an International package (FlexCube) that went live big bang in April 2017. Now responsible on whole Application in NBE as Application Head. The responsibility is managing 200+ people to do day to day Application development and support. Aldo responsible on IT application strategy and budget.
Transformation program was managing program management in terms of Business Requirement Document Submission, Gap Analysis, Global Parameter Definition, Product Setup, Chart of Account Building, Product Mapping, Data Mapping, Data Migration, Data Cleansing, Processes Setup, Interfaces Analysis and Build, Testing, Business Simulation and Training.
Management of the IT Application Team in thr various day to day activities, as well transformation of the core banking application and a variety of another application. The department was including Development Team in Core and Non Core Banking, Application Support, Data Ware House Management and Problem Management. The team composition was of 18 persons.
Manages IT dept. in all day to day activities includes Development, Operation and Infrastructure activities. The period also includes Core application transformation from ITX into Unix. I was directly reporting to the company MD. The team composition was including Indians and Philippians. The core application was including Accounting, Sales, Cash Management, Spare Parts, Workshop and Leasing management.
Working as IT developer manages the core banking application development. Spent also a couple of years working in operation department. Operating system used was ITX and it was transformed into Unix in 1992. Used to use COBOL and Basic language in programming, in addition to DB4 and Lotus 123 macro programming. was also professional in Word Processing ans excel sheet management.
Grade was Good, however project grade was very good and the major was Relational Data Base Management System. I was ranked 10th in the 5th year and 4th in the 4th year. Out of 10 major subjects in the 5th year 6 was getting very good grade. and out of 10 major subjects in the 4th year, 6 was getting destinct grade.
