• Responsible for developing and implementing media relations and engagement strategies for Media Monitors and its stakeholders (Mainstream and alternative media platforms, European Union, USAID, UN Agencies Embassies operating in Zimbabwe)
• In charge of organizing meetings and events with relevant stakeholders. Have to date, organized over 176 meetings where the media in Zimbabwe and the Southern Region have been present
• Supports regional public relations campaigns which include organisational news, report launch thought leadership, CSR and stakeholders partnerships
• Ensures that reports and all visibility material adheres to the organisations branding guidelines
• Conducts media monitoring and research to ensure the organisation is regularly featured in the media
• Conducts media monitoring (online and offline) to track perception, competition, and identifying opportunities and gaps to share with the team
• Files and maintains Media Monitors database which is inclusive of awards, media contacts, workshop recommendations, stakeholders contacts and donor contacts
• Instrumental in drafting communication materials such as scripts, media pitches, designing and executing social media and communication strategies for different funded projects (European Union, USAID, UN Agencies Embassies operating in Zimbabwe)
• Responsible for monitoring PR campaigns of major brands in Zimbabwe like Old Mutual, Stanbic Bank, Pacific so as to provide feedback and social media analytics
• Host and content creator of Media Monitors podcast show which airs every Friday https://anchor.fm/media-monitors/episodes/The-Podcast-by-Media-Monitors-e1kcoob
• Managing all online accounts and interaction for the institution (Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and Website). Was instrumental in the creation of the new website for Media Monitors (www.mediamonitors.org.zw). • Makes use of cision and PR newswire to reach out media stakeholders within the EMEA region Zimbabwe
