Preparation and review QAP/ITP and ralated procedures for projects and orders.
Review Material Test Certificate (MTC/MTR) in accordance with relevant standards
and ensure accurate documentation.
Coordinate and facilitate inspections conducted by client or third-party agencies
such as BV, DNV, TUV, Intertek etc.
Leading and Supervise Receiving Inspection, Dimensional Inspection, In-process
Inspection, NDT Inspection, Welding Inspection, Coating & Painting Inspection,
Gauge Calibration Program, NDT Testing Process, Special Process Inspection,
Performing Final Inspection,
Identified non-conformities during Inspections and Testing processes, Esuring
adherence to quality standards, Initiated and documented Non-Conformance
Reports (NCRs) to track and document identified issues, Maintained diligent follow
up on the status of rework activities to expedite resolution and closure of NCRs.
Execute projects according to established quality assurance, quality control
procedures, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) to ensure proper material verification,
dimensional inspection, Visual Inspection, hydrostatic test, pneumatic test,
functional test, painting inspection and Final Inspection.
Collaborate with other department like design, production and planning to ensure
product quality to meet project requirements.
Plan and execute internal audits in accordance with ISO 9001 standards, company
policies and audit procedure. Maintaint audit records, documentation, and
evidence in compliance with ISO 9001 standards and organizational requirements.
Prepare Material Test Certificates (MTC) in accordance with EN 10204:3.1 standard.
Ensure accurate and complete documentation of material test results with
dimensinal report, testing report, NDT report and Certificate of Compliance.
Schedule and coordinate the calibration of measuring and test equipment as per
the requirements and maintain a list of calibrated equipment, calibration plans and
calibration history records.
Maintaining stong relationships with supplier, ensuring effective communication
and collaboration throughout the inspection process such as dimensional
inspection, pressure testing, leakage testing, material analysis, and performance
testing to ensure compliance with the project specifications, code and standards.
Astec Valve & Fittings Pvt. Ltd. is engaged in the business of Manufacturing of Instrumentation valves, manifolds,
fittings, DBBs, Prefabricated Smart hook ups, Mon-flange & Pipe line valves.
Preparation and Review of QAP/ITP and Procedure for order wise as well as project wise & coordinating for the
approval.
To review MTC/MTR as per standards & verify documentation.
Familiar in International Codes, Standards and Specification in ISO, ASME, ASTM, ANSI, MESC, MSS and API etc.
To handle third party inspection as well as customer inspection.
Coordination with inspection agencies such as BV, DNV-GL, Astron, TUV and Applus.
Responsible for the overall functioning of Final Inspection section.
Also responsible for the overall functioning of QC/QA department.
Monitoring & Controlling for All type of Hydro and Pneumatic Test.
Preparation and Testing for Fugitive Emission Test (FET)
Perform and Inspection of QA/QC Testing likes Liquid Penetrant Testing, Magnetic Particle Testing, Radiographic
Testing and Ultrasonic Testing, Hydrostatic and Pneumatic Testing.
Preparation and submit all test reports.
Raise Non-Conformance Reports as seen during inspection and follow-up on status of rework and close-out.
Execution of project, Inspection and maintain of quality assurance and quality control.
Performing Inspection of all assembly components with component data sheet.
Review of Inspection & Test Plan, Material verification, all stages of inspection, Dimensional inspection, Welding
inspection Final visual & painting inspection.
To handle all types of valve and fittings proper planning for assembly and testing departments.
Interacting to junior quality engineer, quality assistance & workmen, making workmen aware about the product
and customer requirements with respect to product.
Interacting with other department, heads with respect to product quality, inprocess quantity and final inspection.
If any type of R&D of all types of valve and fittings permission to management and co-ordinate with Design,
Production, Assembly and Testing Departments.
Review Material Test Certificates (MTC) or Material Test Reports (MTR) in accordance with relevant standards.
Verify the documentation for compliance.
Take responsibility for conducting and managing pressure testing activities. Ensure compliance with applicable
standards and specifications.
Prepare Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) based on customer specifications and requirements. Ensure that the
ITPs meet the necessary quality standards.
Work on executing projects as per the project orders received.
Coordinate with different teams such as production and sales to ensure timely completion of work orders.
Maintain control over the QC processes. Ensure proper coordination and communication to meet quality
control requirements.
Manage third-party inspections conducted by organizations such as RITES, ONGC, HPCL, NPCIL, L&T, etc.
Develop Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) that outline the inspection and testing activities required.
Ensure the ITPs align with project and quality requirements.
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards and participate in audits related to quality management.
Prepare Material Test Certificates (MTC) in accordance with EN 10204:3.1 standard. Ensure accurate and
complete documentation of material test results.
Address and respond to customer complaints regarding quality issues.
Investigate the complaints, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
Conduct inspections of incoming raw materials, including dimensional, and visual inspections. Ensure
compliance with material specifications and standards.
Review and assess daily inspection reports generated in-house or through online inspection systems.
Analyze the inspection results and take necessary actions based on the findings.
Schedule and coordinate the calibration of measuring and test equipment as per the requirements.
Maintain a list of calibrated equipment, calibration plans, and calibration history records.
Follow NABL (National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories) guidelines for calibration.
Possess knowledge of incoming, in-process, and final inspections.
Releasing the work order once the drawing is collected, the work order is initiated, which includes assigning the
necessary resources, materials, and personnel to manufacture the valve as per the customer's requirements.
Calculating material for a given order to determining the quantity and type of materials required to manufacture the
valve based on the provided drawing and specifications.
Keeping calibration records of gauges to maintaining a record of calibrations performed on measuring gauges to
ensure their accuracy and reliability in measuring valve components.
Inspecting incoming raw materials to conducting inspections on the raw materials received for valve production,
comparing them to the procurement order and associated documents (such as mill test certificates), and verifying
their traceability and conformance to relevant codes and standards.
Routing inspection for manufactured products to performing inspections at various stages of the manufacturing
process for different products, including nuts, ferrules, forgings, fittings, manifolds, and valves. These inspections are
carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.
Final inspection report for valves, manifolds, and fittings once the manufacturing process is completed, a final
inspection is conducted on valves, manifolds, and fittings to ensure they meet the required standards and
specifications. A comprehensive inspection report is prepared based on the findings.
Knowledge of inspection activities and standards of various inspection activities, such as dimensional and visual
inspections, hydro/pneumatic testing, hardness checks, and third-party inspection/documentation. It also includes
familiarity with material grades and relevant standards like ASTM, ASME, ANSI, and API.
Interaction with other departments such as Design, Valve Assembling, Testing, and Packing to ensure smooth
coordination and adherence to quality standards throughout the manufacturing proces.
