• Responsible for assortment selection and range development, maintaining planograms, setting RSP’s and margins for Diy, Automotive departments.
• Negotiating the best prices with suppliers in order to apply an aggressive retail price to attain optimal profit margins.
• Have successfully finalized deals with suppliers in foreign countries even with the presence of a local distributor to get price advantages for my company Turtle Wax and Meguiars.
• Managing Inventory (keeping inventory as much as possible in a way it does not affect the cash flow and proper demand for items).
• Coordinated with foreign suppliers in respective countries (China, Spain, USA etc) to make sure shipments arrive according to plans, including consolidation of shipments, re-export to other geographies, in addition to making sure items are received and delivered at the right time, in the right quantity, with the right quality level.
• Responsible for internal communication between Finance and traffic department to ensure that the products received do not have any legal issues.
• Constant communication with marketing department for flyer items and items needed to be put on promotion.
• Visiting our service stores in Salmiya and Sharq and having face to face conversations with the store supervisors and managers and getting to know about the supplies and how well the stocks get replenished by us.
• Creating replenishment and shrinkage reports in Excel in advanced levels and providing useful presentations depicting the supplier service levels and the demands affected as a result.

• Handling the Feasibility study, negotiating, tracking, shipping, demand Forecasting, and inventory management of Foreign imported Home Center lines ( Automotive, Household, Kitchenware’s etc ) across TSC’s major outlets (Kuwait, Jordan, Oman and Lebanon).
• Maintaining the parameters of the replenishment model and making sure it is accurately managed into the system, including lead times, re-order point, economic order quantities, and suppliers minimum order quantities among others.
• Prepared reports and analyzed inventory KPI’s such as availability and overstocked items.
• Finalising Order quantity to be placed, releasing orders to suppliers, tracking orders, following documents and shipments with logistic department, follow up costing of shipments with finance, follow up claims.
• MIS reports Supplier reports & Product reports (expiry wise, stock wise, supplier wise, service level wise (supplier wise n order wise) depends on organizational requirements.
• Forecasts and Order tracking include all countries that TSC have their Business’s at (Kuwait, Jordan, Oman, Lebanon).
• Need to do a constant follow up and communication with our Freight Forwarder Kuehne & Nagel who assist in shipping goods from various suppliers to the respective destinations.
• Constant communication with our many suppliers globally to provide us with the necessary shipping documents and HTS codes needed by the port authorities and our retail management, and keep them updated on the rules and regulations at the ports of each countries, so that they can abide by them.
• Analyzing and forecasting the sales for all the items in Home centre and supermarket divisions.
• Processing True Value account statements on time so that there is no delay in payment.
• Responsible for creating Letter of Credit’s for our foreign suppliers.
• Ability to analyze that there is a problem in the orders and shipment and even more so how to counteract it is highly necessary. Hence the demand forecasted must involve even these factors.
• Providing the best balanced demand by not ordering too much resulting into shrinkage and affecting the cash flow of the company and at the same time not ordering too low resulting into lack of items at the store level and hence causing general customer dissatisfaction.
