Duties & Responsibilities:
- Coordinating & expediting technical interfaces between contractors, construction team and design team.
- Manage, Standardize & Coordinate the process of the Civil Defense Approvals project-wide.
- Manage, Monitor & Control Civil Defense Consultants site assessment surveys, reports and workshops.
- Monitor status of interface agreements across project and provide regular updates to Project Managers where appropriate
- Resolving interface problems and driving forward the timely escalation of matters unresolved through relevant working channels.
- Facilitate and ensure timely communication and resolution of issues that may impact the delivery of a project, and keep senior management informed of project status and all developments that might impact project schedule.
- Contribute to Client weekly and monthly reports.
- Identify potential interface issues that may result in variation orders.
- Maintain effective relationships with Consultants, Contractors & related third parties.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage the relationships between different Stakeholders
- Manage, Review & Verify the mechanical design proposals, specifications & technical submittals submitted for review by the contractor
- Manage, Monitor & Control design and construction activities of various MEP systems to ensure compliance with the contract, specs & applicable standards
- Ensure project design and execution are adhere to the engineering principles and techniques
- Participate in regular engineering workshops, construction progress & coordination meetings, and Provide timely recommendations and directions to mitigate and resolve MEP engineering issues on the project.
- Review and verify MEP works against cost, safety & time constraints
- Review and verify MEP shop drawings, method statements & ITP’s
- Ensure efficiency, quality & performance of MEP works against the design to meet project objectives
- Monitoring the site MEP works for conformance with the provisions of the contract documents, manufacturer’s instructions and manuals
- Assist, where requested, with the final inspection of the works and reviewing the adequacy and accuracy of the punch lists.
