Accountable for managing the delivery of critical projects, and for providing managerial support for projects conducted by the company. Also responsible for providing monthly financial and technical updates of any known issues/risks to the Business Unit Director.

Duties:

• Leading the project management teams (Design, Program, Cost, Commercial, and Construction) in the delivery of client requirements from inception to completion.
• Coordinating and managing all project activity & ensuring project deliverables are achieved as planned.
• Setting up and delivering the best practice PM systems and controls.
• Gaining the confidence of the client and become the focal point for communication.
• Ensuring that control procedures are in place and adhered to in all areas of the business.
• Collating and presenting commercial, technical and QHSE data to upper management.
• Reviewing and approving project plans, procedures and method statements.
• Initiation of the all the request for proposals required for the project different activities (design, soil investigation, enabling works, project management, peer reviews, main contract works, supervision consultants, technical advisors and cost consultants).
• Tenders Evaluation / Analysis and preparation of the Executive Recommendation Reports.
• Monitor & Follow up of all design / Construction related issues with the Consultants & Contractors.
• Reporting to management for various issues for approval / decisions.
• Project Cash Flow preparation, review / monitoring.
• Preparation of Monthly reports for executives.
• Follow up & Approval of all the Invoicing issues related to the operations of the project.
• Communicating with Abu Dhabi Municipality & other authorities for permits relates issues.
• Review and approval of all the invoices related to the operations of the project.


Projects:

• Masdar Head Quarters: 450 Million AED - (GFA: 320, 000 sq.ft.).
Design, Piles & Slab on Grade completed - Construction started in October 2012.

Project Cancelled at Detailed Design stage.
• External Car Parks: 8 Car Parks with integrated facilities (District Cooling Plant / Substations / Bus Stations / PRT stations) 4 Billion AED - (GFA = 9, 500, 000 sq.ft.).
Project Cancelled at Schematic Design stage.
• Managing the final accounts “Project close off” for General Infrastructure works (Overflow pipeline; Geothermal; Irrigation Pumps; Roads) 165 Million AED.

i. Reporting to management for various issues for approval / decisions.
j. Coordination with Marketing / Sales / Finance / Customer-Care departments for the all the project phases.
k. Communication with Abu Dhabi Municipality & other governmental departments for permits relates issues.
l. Preparation of Monthly reports for the high executive levels.
m. Follow up & Approval of all the Invoicing issues related to the operations of the project.
