Leading the finance team in the holding company and coordinating with 20 finance managers of the subsidiaries under the group to ensure the efficient implementation of the financial policies and procedures of the group.
Generate the stand-alone annual financial reports of the holding company according to the Iraqi accounting system.
Participating in generating the consolidated annual financial report of the group according to IFRS in coordination with the external auditor (one of the big 4)
Managing the process of initiation, auditing, recoding and posting financial transactions in the ERP system
Controlling the transactions and investments at our local and international bank accounts.

At January 2016 I have moved officially from Asiacell telecom. to the new sister company AsiaHawala for Non banking financial services, under FGH (Faruk Group Holding) to start an entirely new challenge in term of the position, responsibility, and industry.
AsiaHawala has been established to provide mobile payment services MPS in the Iraqi market as a first company in Iraq provide such a services for Asiacell subscribers. The idea started at 2012 in Asiacell to provide mobile financial services and started implementation under Profession Mobile Services Business Unit, I have joined this BU at April 2014. The management and the team struggled for long time to acquire the platform and to have the CBI (Central Bank of Iraq) license and establishing AsiaHawala co.
My role was to establishing the finance department and building the financial system including having the appropriate accounting software, build the chart of accounts, design vouchers, opening bank accounts, recruitment, reviewing and confirming the financial process in the core system of mobile money.
At 29th of December 2016 we did launch the services and a new stage of challenges have been started.

• I’ve been moved from Basra branch to HQ in Sulymania, to managing financial functions of mobile financial services project under Professional Mobile Services(PMS) Business Unit, as it was planned to separating this BU to be a sister company to Asiacell.
• Start this position with reviewing and updating financial operation process in light of accounting principles, building the chart of account COA based on the industry of the project and reporting requirements, mapping the COA with the Iraqi consolidated COA for the governmental financial reporting requirements, having accounting software, hiring finance department staff, preparing invoices forms, developing the financial process, opening bank accounts.
• I managed all operation function of finance department including processing payments, bank accounts reconciliations, recording, reporting, and the preparations for launching stage.
