Responsibilities:
• Providing 1st line Support to entire network nodes (RAN, Transmission, Core) including alarms handling, identifying root cause, clearing (if not, escalated ).
• Following up on remedial efforts, including vendor support where engaged through Zain-Sudan Network Support Engineers, until closure of the Trouble Ticket or NMC Shift Handover.
• Performing assessment, implementation and review of Change Requests in accordance with change management processes.
• Advising affected parties of network service outages and degradations (whether planned or not), their extent and anticipated duration, as well as of eventual remedy.
• Participating in execution of network upgrade projects initiated by projects.
• Managing and assisting contractors, who provide maintenance services on sites.
• Ensuring the compliance of policies and procedures in the customer care with the Information Security guides.

Responsibilities:
• Using PRTG for Network monitoring and management, and SDM Huawei tool for Ticketing, WinFiol(Ericsson), iManager U2000(Huawei) and NetNumen (ZTE) yo performe the following tasks:
• Ensuring continuous 24/7 network supervision of all MTN-Sudan nodes and segments.
• Carrying out all regular O&M routines and preventing maintenance activities.
• Providing 1st line O&M including accurate and timely problem remedy, escalation, and resolution of any failures in the shortest possible time and within set reaction and remedy time targets applicable to various fault categories.
• Following up on remedial efforts, including vendor support where engaged through MTN-Sudan Network Support Engineers, until closure of the Trouble Ticket or NMC Shift Handover.
• Performing assessment, implementation and review of Change Requests in accordance with change management processes.
