• Handling staffing within the company including sourcing, screening, finalization and onboarding
• Maintaining active talent pool of key positions using internal data base along with partnerships with recruitment agencies in both white and blue collar recruitment (locally and abroad)
• Lead the HR team in ensuring HR Operations associated with employee life cycle (staffing, induction, periodic performance review, benefits administration, payroll, contracts, grievances management, separation, data management, visa matters etc) are performed with utmost diligence
• Organize in-house trainings and other employee engagement initiatives
• Facilitate HR Policy revision activities to streamline employee satisfaction at multiple levels
• Lead administrative activities related to License Renewals, Employee and / or General Insurance Policies
• Oversee Accommodation Facility of employees and related service contracts to ensure compliance to laws and satisfaction of employees
• Supervise fleet management initiatives thereby improving fleet life and reducing breakdown losses
• Compile HR & Administrative reporting (Periodical and Adhoc)
• Business continuity support during pandemic (FY2020)
• Act as immediate point of contact for management / employees alike in HR matters
• Work with business managers and prepare yearly manpower plans
• Sourcing and screening of candidates to ensure positions are filled as per planned timelines
• Finalizing candidates for review of business managers, completing selection and coordinating the onboarding process
• Manage talent sources (online as well as agencies) to ensure suitable talent pool is maintained cost effectively
• Periodically review and compile job classifications, descriptions, KPIs and salary structures

• Lead C&B Team in compensation and benefits administration activities
• Collect, Analyze and Present HR Data, share indications of trends in HR operations to business managers to take informed business decisions
• Develop and implement Human Resource Policies from time to time, complying with the local legislations and business prospects
• End to End management of Payroll for all Desert Group Subsidiaries
• Coordinating periodic performance evaluation and benefits revision activities for employees
• Guide the new recruits on company policies and procedures through induction
• Customizing employee related insurances (Group Life / Workmen Compensation & Medical Insurance), negotiations and policy finalization. Supervising insurance operations (claims, enrollments, deletions etc)
• Managing the employee separation process including separation initiation, exit interviews, payouts, contract cancellations etc.
• Supporting financial audit with HR related reports and matrices
• Management of grievances and complaints by monthly visits to accommodation, sites along with addressing direct enquiries
• Ensure HR Data base in maintained with accurate employee profiles (Pay structure, job classifications, loans / advances etc
• Lead the HR Data Base Migration by reviewing the Functional Design, Testing and Acceptance of the new ERP
• Review and recommend customization of insurance policies for the employees
• Administer insurance policy activities including enrollment, deletion, medical claims, invoicing, analysis and reporting
• Act as point of contact for employees in queries related to insurance matters
• Monitoring and claiming of workmen compensation to render lawful benefits to workers involved in site accidents and guiding the project personnel for further enhancements of safety practices
• Negotiate corporate deals with travel management companies to support the business requirements
• Managing day today travel and lodging requirements of the employees travelling for business or leisure and support with the requirements
• Analysis of travel spent and ensure the policy & procedures are implemented
• Assist the recruitment team in the preparation of offer letters, onboarding process, coordination with PRO for arrival formalities and induction to company
