Developing a modern and robust technical department and to develop cohesive, highly motivated and skilled technical people capable of fulfilling the company’s requirements in a timely and visibly competent manner.
Liaise with project directors and associates to ensure that they fully appreciate the scope of our duties on each project during the phases of the works.
Ensure projects are delivered to the highest technical standards.
Leading the technical team to ensure highest employee contribution and utilizing the team for accomplishing the objectives of the project.
Responsible for all aspects of the day to day people management within the technical department including but not limited to productivity control, work standards monitoring, behavior issues, discipline and grievance etc.
Encouraging a culture of continuous improvement in every aspect of individual and team operation.
Review drawings, ensuring they are appropriate and comply with the client's brief.
To provide while on site or off, support to the clients personnel and their sub-contractors so that the equipment can be installed correctly and efficiently to the relevant drawings.
Managing departmental workloads including even distribution of existing employees across current projects and jobs as well as short term temporary manpower issues and longer term departmental headcount needs.
To provide a point of contact to all loyal customers and external suppliers relating to the operation of the Technical function.
Generating loyal customers and maintaining good relationship through reputed technical support and regular visit.
To submit weekly progress reports detailing the work undertaken together with comments/suggestions relevant to improving future installations and identifying outstanding issues from the current contract.
Monitor the quality control on projects and ensure that the company quality standards are being achieved.
Servicing and trouble shooting of diesel and petrol IC engines.
Re-boring and re-hauling of engines, gear box, steering systems and suspension systems of cars.
Scored 75.32% of marks, passed in First class with distinction.
