- Responsible to manage IT operations in Bayt Offices.
- Provide Level 1 and level 2 support to local and remote users Bayt users.
- Liaise and maintain good relationship with vendors
- Support Cisco Network devices (Switch, Routers, AP’s)
- Provide support for phone systems .
- Ensure 24/7 availability of IT networks and systems in the office
- Document and manage Hardware and Software Inventory across Bayt offices.
- Promote, Implement and optimize technology procedures and standards .
- Provide regular operational reports to direct manager.
- Propose cost cutting in software and hardware usage and purchase options.
- Train and empower team members and end-users with relevant knowledge sharing .
- Organize work off hours in order to minimize IT systems downtime in office hours.
- Read and research new technologies and have discussions with team and manager.
- Research and implement opensource alternatives to commercial software
- Improve by implementing policies and tools in printer usage .
- Document and maintain all documentation related to any of the above tasks.
- Create and maintain windows active directory infrastructure .
- Provide DHCP, DNS, Active Directory support for 10 offices .
Worked at help desk supporting RJ local and international stations, providing professional troubleshooting for any problems or errors in windows, hardware, RJ software & servers, network, Microsoft exchange, Active directory and IP phones using tickets system for tracking problems and providing the best service to the user.
In this position I worked as Technical support Engineer for Lafarge cement Factory in Jordan and I participated in building infrastructure, installing and Maintaining new server room which “we” as a team started from scratch to making a network serving more than 300 Pc’s in 7 different locations in an area spreads Over 3000 Km2.
In this Job I was introduced to the professional work environment and I have sharpen my communication skills as I interacted with many people in Aviation exhibitions and conferences Also I participated in Graphic designing and editing in the company profile film and Kids of Gaza film.
