Surveyor/Inspection Engineer (Asset Risk Management- Oil & Gas)
Entrusted with the responsibility to carry inspection, review, verification and certification of following engineering projects:
1. Third Party Inspections at Maharashtra Seamless Ltd ( Jindal Steel Group) Pipe mills
Maharashtra Seamless Ltd. at Nagothane near Mumbai, for inspection of Seamless Line Pipes, ERW Pipes, Casings, Tubes, U-bend Tubes, Couplings to ensure adherence to standards of ASTM, API 5CT, API 5L.
Seamless pipes from 1" to 14", Casings and Tubings of different grades such J55, K55, L80, N80, P110 etc.
Maharashtra Seamless Ltd 3LPE Coating Division at Nagothane near Mumbai, for inspection of Line Pipes having 3 layer polyethylene coatings. Jindal Hydril Pvt. Ltd. at Nagothane near Mumbai, for inspection of Line pipes used for Oil Wells dully threaded precisely as per HYDRIL standards.

2. Carried out inspection, review, verification and certification of following Wind Energy Projects (Wind Turbine Blades & Wind Energy Towers)
Suzlon Energy Ltd. at Daman (UT), Pondicherry (UT), Nandurbar (Maharashtra), Bhuj (Gujarat) and Mangalore (Karnataka)

3. Re-certification process of topsides of oil platforms at Cairn Energy & ONGC
Part of the team in inspection of offshore platforms, general visual inspection, painting inspection, damage inspection, functional tests, maintenance requirements, recommendations & document review.

4. Subsea pipeline free-span correction project (24'' oil pipeline) at Cairn Energy, Surat
Duties included document review, supervising and approving the daily progress reports, identifying and survey of the free-span locations by means of radio communication.
Grouting of cement bags as per approved procedure.
Coordinating with onshore team with daily progress of the project.

5. Underwater Jacket Inspection at, Cairn Energy & British Gas
Survey included detailed visual inspection of Spider Deck, Splash zone areas, Anodes inspection, Cathodic
Protection (CP), Condition Monitoring, Wall thickness, ACFM, Marine Growth survey & removal, Riser inspection & Specified Stress Weld Inspections. Inspections were carried out at offshore jackets at Ravva field and Panna Field respectively.

6. Audit of offshore vessels at ONGC, Mumbai High
For maintaining the efficiency & smoothness of vessels operation, periodic checks of equipment,
personnel & jobs are carried out which include Quality & pace of ongoing job, competency of welders & Engineers,
calibration & performance of work equipment like cameras, UT meters, CP meters, MPI equipment, Water blasting
systems, dry grit blasting systems, welding machines, Gas detectors etc.

7. Inspection of Industrial valves & Pressure Vessels
Carrying out complete inspection of industrial valves from 2" to 24" (Gate valves, Globe Valves etc.) & Pressure vessels. Inspections included review of MTC's, Hydro testing of body, Visual & Dimension Inspection, Radiographic examination & Seat test (Hydro & Air) for Valves.
For Pressure Vessels activities include Raw material inspection, Witness/Review of WPS/PQR, Fitment check before welding, Visual and Dimensional inspection, Review of radiographic film, Witness Hydro testing, Pneumatic
testing, Hardness testing, UT, DPT etc. Inspection of surface preparation and Painting, Final inspection and assembly.

8. Risk Based Inspection & Integrity Management at Offshore platforms (Corrosion Studies & Management)
Inspection carried out as per RBI methods for existing piping & equipment on topside of offshore oil platforms.
Inspection included various techniques like LRUT, UT105, CVI etc. depending on various degradation
mechanisms involved in operating equipment and piping.

9. Risk Based Inspection Assessment studies for Process Platforms for BG Exploration & Production, India
Part of team for Assessment studies as per RBI guidelines for integrity & corrosion management.
Duties involved mapping out systems, segmentation analysis from PFD's & PID's.
Project involved development of an inspection plan based on risk assessment using Orbit Offshore
RBI analysis and assessment of offshore & process platforms in Panna & Tapti Fields, India.

10. Risk Based Inspection (RBI) Assessment for ONGC ( Heera Process), Mumbai High, India
Risk Based Inspection study of Process and Unmanned platforms for the complex.
Project involved development of an inspection plan based on technical audit of complex & use of
Orbit Offshore software for Topside Static Equipment and Piping.


11. Inspection of Oil & Gas equipment
Third party Inspection of Agitators, Pumps, Polypropylene& Rubber hoses etc. as per QAP/ITP

12. ISRS Audit
Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) Implementation of ISRS 8th Edition at different LPG Depots /
involving Gap - Analysis, Facilitation and Final Audit
Auditing is done as per protocol for Risk Management / Control, Safety, Health, Environment rules & regulations,
Process Safety & Hazards / Controls etc.

13. Inspection of Static Equipment (Onsite)
Involved in inspections of columns, pressure vessels, piping systems etc.
Review of WPS, PQR, WQR etc. for various vendors.
Inspection of Various types of pipes (Carbon Steel, SS, Alloy Steel) and Heat Exchanger Tubes carried out at manufacturing plants. Adhering to the following ASTM A 106, API 5L, ASTM A 333. ASTM A 312, ASTM A/ SA 213 ASTM A / SA 179 ASTM A / SA 334 etc.
Verification is based on the stage wise inspection of manufacturing including NDT methods.
Monitoring, witnessing, approving Mechanical and chemical testing like, Tensile, Yield, Elongation, Reduction in area, hardness, Impact, Shear area, DWTT, Bend test, Flattening, Macro, Micro analysis, HIC, SSC etc. as per relevant international standards. Also involved in NDT Inspections like RT, UT, MPT, PT, VT, MPT & ACFM for pipeline, piping welding, pressure vessels, structural fabrication & in service inspection of underwater jackets.
