* Prepare SOW, CDP and FEEP/FEED including: Design Basis, instrument - F&G - control system specifications, control and safe guarding philosophy, Instrument Index, IO lists, loop diagrams, hook-up Drawings, JB and Marshalling cabinet Termination/Wiring diagram, , P&ID, cable schedule, ESD system specification, BOQ, Bulk MTOs, Serial link mapping, Instrument and F&G datasheets and layouts.
* Inter discipline coordination and managing team of engineers, designers and draft person on preparation of various instrumentation related construction documents and drawings.
* Study the Company Documents and propose the Technical and Economical options.
* Installation, Programming, Testing & Commissioning.
* Implement project management processes during a project life cycle like: Define Scope, Engineering Man-Hours & Cost estimations, Risk assessments, QA/QC and change control, Technical Bid evaluations, quotes review and equipment selection. Participate in FAT and SAT and HAZID & HAZOP for new projects.
* Preparation of Instrument Weight Control Register and COG.
* FEED verification & endorsement
* Raise Material Requisition for Instrumentation, F&G devices, control and ESD systems.
* Lead plant maintenance activities to maximize the plant availability. Plan, organize and execute plant yearly turnaround within budget and planned time. Implement HSE policies, standards and procedures.
* Manage Instrument and Control system jobs
* Improve quality of instrument maintenance through PMs of equipments through proper planning with minimum of percent repeat jobs and minimizing breakdowns. Increase plant reliability, availability through implementation of CMMS, S-RCM and RBI strategies.
* Prepare and manage Instrument Maintenance budget to ensure expenses remain in line with business plan. Plan and organize TNA and develop Instrument maintenance staff to ensure that their competencies and skills are improved. Prepare, update and review Job Plan, Work Instructions and procedures for instrument maintenance so that up-to-date guidance and procedural coverage is available to all concerned.
* Modify, troubleshoot and maintain Control System of plant including RTU, MTUs, PLCs, ESD logic HMI graphics and F&G systems.
* Prepare data sheets / specification sheet, Review and modify P&IDs, Prepare C&E Diagrams. Prepare and allocate Budgets, Prepare PR, Technical evaluation of bids. Installation & Programming, Testing & Commissioning. Participate in FAT & SAT and HAZID & HAZOP new projects
* Design and maintain Field instruments and control Systems of different Petrochemical Pilot plants & laboratories (like PE, PP Cat, TPF, PVC etc)
*Design, modify and maintain RTUs and PLCs (AllenBradley Siemens, Modicon, Direct etc) of different control systems (Pilot plants and Labs) including communication, hardware and software.
*Modify, troubleshoot and maintain ESD logic (Emergency Shut Down).
*Modify and maintain HMI graphics of different makes like WonderWare, Winlab, Intellution, Citect etc
* Design and modify E&I Drawings (Electrical & Instrument), loop & logic diagrams (PLC & DCS), Flow charts, and connection diagrams etc.
*Perform following activities for implementation of Control Systems and field control instruments including Area Classified Instrumentations.
•Prepare data sheets / specification sheet,
•Review and modify P&IDs,
•Prepare Cause & Effect Diagrams,
•Prepare and allocate Budgets,
•Prepare Purchase Requisition,
•Technical evaluation of bids,
•Installation & Programming,
•Testing & Commissioning.
* Follow International standards, Codes and procedures while designing and executing of jobs like NFPA, ISO, NEMA, IP etc
* Witness FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) and SAT (Site Acceptance Test) for new projects.
* Troubleshoot and Modify E&I wiring, control devices, logic and field control instruments, electrical & control panels etc
* Testing and commissioning of F&G (Fire and Gas) systems.
