Work with the business to identify VAT savings opportunities to include modifying our business practices and enhancing record keeping practices
Responsible for overseeing the preparation of sales tax, income tax
Filing VAT Returns.
Track all outstanding VAT audits and ensure assistance is provided to all material VAT audits as well as learning occurs to eliminate any future audit risks
Lead discussions and respond to queries related to the Tax and Liaison with Tax authorities.
Provide daily guidance, coaching and develop the companies knowledge and competencies related to Tax.
Involved in drafting indirect tax policies and procedures as needed to improve controls
