Lookafter Rice liquid Glucose Plants with up to 110 tons grind per day. The areas of responsibility includes production, engineering services, electrical and instrumentation, maintenance, utilities, sales inventory management and dispatches, labor management, legal compliances, audits and reporting to company director.
Other responsibilities include continuous improvement, process Optimization, development and training of skilled work force.
Includes Planning, organizing, directing and running optimum day-to-day operations to exceed customers’ expectations and requirements in term of quantity, quality and innovation • Increasing production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining quality standards • Allocating resources, utilizing assets and developing systems & processes that track and optimize productivity standards and metrics performance targets to ensure effective return on assets • Reviewing established production schedules for all manufacturing departments to ensure established inventory levels are met while operating at the highest efficiency possible • Maintaining inventory levels and controlling flow of product • Maintaining and supporting a superior safety and housekeeping program, including all timely communication initiatives • Analyzing workforce requirements; conducting performance appraisals and providing coaching and guidance to all operation employees • Coordinating with MR for resolving any problem which hinders the smooth functioning of Integrated Management System • Monitoring computation and distribution of day-to-day production program on daily and monthly basis • Keeping an eye on yield loss points and control them on top priority • Communicating with research and development as well as product management personnel to develop new product strategies • Removing waste and constraints from the production processes to improve efficiencies / effectiveness and enhance productivity by encouraging and promoting continuous improvement environment at the plant • Suggesting/proposing any development ideas for improvement in equipment or process • Leading team to drive application of effective and efficient techniques to deliver on time completion of targets and reducing machine downtime at plant • Staying up to date on latest technologies and developments to ensure that our teams are equipped with best knowledge and has access to relevant expertise and facilities • Managing department within agreed budgets and continuously explore ways to optimize costs • Working closely with quality personnel to review product consistency while monitoring wastage and rejections to determine trends and areas of improvement • Customer Complaints handling, Coordinating with the Company HR and Admin Functions for hiring and training of all manufacturing personnel as well as maintaining strong employee engagement • Ensuring all members of the manufacturing team are aware of safety policies, practices and necessary procedures to provide a safe workplace for the employees at the plant • Exhibiting exemplary leadership in maintaining and achieving Environment, Health and Safety excellence in areas of responsibilities including safety of contractors’ workforce employed at plant • Ensuring compliance of all regulatory policies and procedures at the plant. • Ensuring of GMP, HACCP, HAZOP, MS, Equipment Validation, Plant commissioning / Modifications / Optimization / De-bottlenecking, Safety, Health & Environmental procedures / inspections, Root Cause Analysis, Budgeting, Cost Control Continuous Improvement, Lean Six Sigma implementation, Technical Process, Facility Planning Procedure, Business Continuity Planning and cross functional team management • Dealing legal matters with government officials of EPA, Boiler, irrigation and labor departments.

•Plant operation, Development, Execution/Extension of New Projects as well as existing facility, Staff training & development, Plant erection & commissioning, Operations conforming ISO 9000, 14000, 22000, 18000 & HALAL standards, Process optimization, Quality Production, Energy saving, Waste Minimization, Technical Documentation, Production scheduling, trouble shooting problems, coordinating maintenance & other daily jobs, reporting to CEO.
Erection & Commissioning of Glucose refinery & Starch Division, Production Scheduling as per given production program, Shift scheduling, Plant Maintenance activities coordination, Budgeting & Monitoring costs of chemicals and operations, Quality Production, SAP Key User PP-Module, Hands on SAP MM Module, PM Module, Execution of departmental projects, Assist Hr in recruiting process, Evaluating staff performance criteria, keep informing inventory department of short materials, coordination with warehouse department, Keep inform higher management regarding plants and continuous improvement projects etc.
Look after the activities of subordinates, workers, planning and administering a department budget, planning and scheduling tasks over both short and long term time periods. Determining and administering policies and procedures that are related receiving as well as the storage of different kinds of materials & supplies. Developing procurement plans, assessing transportation, and carting of materials to designated plants, managing records of all stock and inventory, Recruitment of staff and organizing necessary training for them.
Look after production, maintenance & labor related affairs at Detergent Post Addition, Fulfill Packing Requirements, Coordination with other departments related to day to day & safety issues, Ensure Smooth operation & on time meeting of targets, Update daily updates & reporting on SAP.
Oversee & Execute development, operation and maintenance of plant machinery for safe, smooth & efficient operations, Troubleshooting day- to- day problems of process plant machinery, Technical staff training, Writing Process Procedures and SOP’s for plant operations, Risk Analysis &Impact Assessment of the plants, Preparing project proposals for upcoming projects, Risk Analysis & Impact Assessment of the plants.
Oversee & Execute development, operation and maintenance of plant machinery for safe, smooth & efficient operations, Continuous process & product quality improvement with energy conservation and ways to minimize production cost, Troubleshooting day- to- day problems of process plant machinery, Technical staff training, Preparing shift schedules, Writing Process Procedures and SOP’s for plant operations, Working as a Project Manager on site, Execution of Projects, modifications & up gradation in plant during shutdowns, Floating inquires and technical evaluation of quotations, Preparing and follow up of project schedules, Preparing project proposals for upcoming projects, Risk Analysis & Impact Assessment of the plants.
