Maintaining the efficiency and good working conditions of the facilities/buildings.
 Carries out frequent inspections and completes periodic reports to the Client - Maintenance
Engineer for the areas under his control.
 Develop and organize periodic preventative maintenance programs for all facilities.
 Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repair work on facilities.
 Maintain all the building maintenance system such as plumbing systems and building repairs.
 Prepare and submit daily reports of the civil maintenance works to Client - maintenance
engineer.
 Plan, prioritize, assign, supervise, review, and participate in the work (Corrective
maintenance) of staff responsible for facility maintenance.
 Establish schedules and methods for providing facility maintenance services, identify resource
requirements, review the requirements with management and allocate resources accordingly.
 Liaising with clients and their representatives, including attending regular meetings to keep
them updated/informed about the issues/progress of the work.
 Quantifies materials, tools and equipment for work areas and ensures their availability for use
for day-to-day work schedules.
 Ensures the availability of minimum stock of the consumable materials, critical spare parts,
tools and equipment for the civil works.
 Ensures tools and equipment are used safely, effectively and efficiently.
 Coordinate with sub-contractors/vendors in providing contract services.
 Preparing Daily Site reports as per the client’s requirement.
 Working knowledge of the CAFM - Computer-aided facility management for maintaining
the regular updates of the work requests and the approval of the work estimates.
 Checking work orders, plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations.
 Initiate interventions to solve problems in the facilities for multidisciplinary task for any
complex/critical issues.
 Carries out other duties within my skills as required by the Management.
 Respond to emergencies and Support any afterhours building needs and activities as required.
 Handling the supervision of workforce engaged in maintenance and repair of existing
buildings and new minor works associated with the facilities.
 Ability to read and understand construction drawings, plans and specifications. Organize,
implement and direct facility maintenance operations and activities.
 Supervise, train and evaluate assigned staff.
 Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of
work.

Managing, monitoring and resolving all the preventive/corrective maintenance related works
raised by the client.
 Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labor force.
 Managing, monitoring and interpreting the contract design documents supplied by the client.
 Liaising with clients and their representatives, including attending regular meetings to keep
them informed for the progress of the work.
 Preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance work mainly contains the followings:
o Door repair work and Door lock repair work
o Tiling and other masonry work
o Plumbing works (uPVC/GI - pipe/pipe fittings repair work, Sanitary items rectification
work)
o Plastering work
o Painting work
o Rectification / modification of RCC structures
o Trench Excavation for the repair work for underground services like cable faults/piping
etc., new cable/pipe laying work.
o Concrete floor/slab settlement rectification work
o Grouting work
o Rectification of water proofing for roof leakage
o Rectification of water leakage from the concrete structures

 Successfully completed the below Projects in Qatar Shell GTL plant - RAS LAFAN
o GRVE pipeline installation in ETP/Utility plant (Area Survey, Line lay out, Excavation,
RCC foundation with steel base plate, Protective Coating on RCC foundations, Grouting
work, Backfilling, Concreting work)
o Provision of new bus shelters inside the plant area
o Provision of Steel structural sheds with RCC foundation, slab inside the plant area
o Acid resisting coatings on RCC foundations of acid tanks
o RCC bund walls for the LUBE oil sheds inside the plant area
o Provision of the potable water line near the office area.
 Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
o Lifting of RCC foundation by using mechanical jacks without damaging the structure
and without any production loses.
o Water leak repair work inside the confined space
o Online sealing of water leakages from the RCC pits
o Tank settlement survey for the plants
 Liaising with consultants, third party vendors, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quality
inspectors, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the work.
 Undertaking technical and feasibility studies and site investigations for any new coming work.
 Checking work orders, plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations.

 Assessing the potential risks of specific projects, as well as Undertaking risk management in
specialist roles.
 Preparing, compiling, checking and approaching client for final approval of reports.
 Preparing and reviewing the method of statements & Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) for work
permit system related to any work (Hot work/Cold Work/confined space permits) in QSGTL.
 Provide support and advice to the site engineer in relation to the Project Quality Program and
the Company Integrated Management System (IMS).
 Experience in carrying out Conditional survey of each civil structures as per statutory
requirements in the plant.
 Record and document any/all deviations from the Project Quality Program (PQP) and the
Company Integrated Management System (IMS)
 Managing, supervising and visiting the site and advising on technical issues
 Managing budgets and other project resources
 Attending daily meeting with main contract focal point from client for the discussion of any
routine/specific work related issues.
 Preparing Daily & Weekly Site reports as required
 Executing the project as per schedule as well as maintaining the quality, proper discipline and
punctuality at site.
Preparing daily work allocation of work force.
 Any other adhoc duties as assigned by client/ site manager from time to time.

Experience Summary:
• Preparation of Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) for civil structure repairing work as per Quality
requirements.
• Preparation of Standard Maintenance Procedure (SMP) for Maintenance jobs.
• Experience in carrying out Conditional survey of each civil structures as per statutory
requirements in the refinery.
• Experience in carried out various minor projects in existing refinery like Expansion of
substation, underground pipeline, Fire water networks with monitor including pits,
Foundations of heavy structures etc.
• Review and comments on drawings of minor projects.
• Preparation of Infrastructure development drawings for the mega shutdown/ routine shutdown
in refinery area.
• Preparation of other Infrastructure development drawings like i.e. Safety district area, new
construction of buildings/ structures, plot plan, changes of equipment’s location in plant area
etc.
• Review and provide comments on drawing received from vendor.
• Experienced in handling in routine civil maintenance job, repairs, Rehabilitation as per the
guidelines.
• Follow up for the schedule of work from the field staff for smooth execution.
• Ensure availability of sufficient manpower, required drawings and construction equipment.
• Capable in handling group of people and execution of minor projects.
• Coordinating all construction activity on site with different disciplines and parties.

construction of Intake well, Jack well and pump house worth Rs. 72.00 Crores.
• GMR Emco RWSS for power plant GRP pipe 900 dia. 9 km length worth Rs. 10.10 Crores.
• India bulls In-plant piping CWSS GRP piping 1000 mm to 2600 mm dia. worth Rs.52.00
Crores.

• Complete preparation of structural design drawings for residential and commercial buildings
along with preliminary estimates and planning of the scheme.
