As a consequence, DPW was forced to sell the US arm of P&O to an American buyer.
Creative TMT business which made `Do Me London’, an interactive multimedia guide to London on your mobile, aimed at the retail market
• Created a new vision and planned a new strategy, abandoning the working prototype and developing a new one by using emerging technology in an imaginative way
• Project managed the whole venture, leading a team of 60 people in three countries, including data analysis, modelling and controlling the finances
• Communicated with mobile phone operators, media and other interested parties
• Developed and implemented the digital strategy including a low budget marketing programme including search engine optimisation, email, social media, viral marketing and pay per click
• Invented the logic for the new prototype and wrote the copy
Investment banking division of Australian global bank
A management role, in a team similar to that at Bank of Nova Scotia (below). Transferred all relevant major customers, which provided a solid base for new business development. Generated income nearly 400% of target. Selected by Human Resources to mentor and develop graduate trainees and improve the graduate programme.
Investment Banking Division of Canadian Global Bank
Offered risk management advice and created brand new products for a wide range of corporate and institutional customers. Sold interest rate, currency, commodity, equity and credit derivatives. On own initiative travelled to new countries and expanded the business. Exceeded every team and individual sales target ever set by 20% - 100%.
Autonomous choir which promotes concerts at major London venues, hiring well-known orchestras
Inspired and led a vital cultural change, improved corporate governance and increased capital by 600%. Created cooperative ventures with other choirs and orchestras. (Voluntary, part time.)
