As rice trader, shalasco is dealing with variety of Indian rice, as supply chain director; I am responsible of taking care of rice till the end consumer. I established quality division equipped with the latest devices controlling quality of all rice cargo & storage. on the other hand; I build a rice packing line with cleaning & grading production unit.
• Prepare yearly department budgets.
• Monitor & facilitate movement of inventory from the point PO is placed till arrival at distribution centers.
• Manage clearance of goods and coordinate with clearing agent / suppliers.
• Proper warehousing and custody of goods at all locations with optimum utilization of resources.
• Establish min and max stock levels and re-order procedures.
• Insure adequate insurance cover of inventory.
• Arrange fumigation processes with max efficiency.
• Negotiate lease deeds and handle other related issues.
• Plan, organize and implement efficient and effective distribution systems
• Establish standards for measuring efficiency of distribution function in terms of customer satisfaction.
• Introduce Performance Appraisal metrics to guarantee supply chain performance compatible with company expansion.
