Contribute to the development of the overall procurement strategy and translate the strategy into concrete action plans. Work closely with key stakeholders to develop and implement effective sourcing and procurement strategies for the category to ensure quality of services and improve value to the business.
Strategic Procurement
➢ Define, implement and manage the structure of best-in-class practices on Source to Pay and Supplier Relationship Management related processes and systems, consistent to the strategic sourcing initiatives across all business units and aligning with the S2P/SRM and Procurement Leadership team.
➢ Define and own the governance and quality management process around the practical deployment of the ways-of-working, clearly communicating the quality expectations across all Procurement and relevant business stakeholders to ensure a seamless transition.
➢ Develop, implement and refine procedures for Procurement & Contract management, to provide a consistent and sound basis for the engagement of external providers of all below categories product and services.
➢ Evaluate and select standard of products, raw materials and services suppliers based upon business needs: pricing, solutions, scalability and effectiveness.
➢ Participate in supplier meetings to negotiate pricing in order to do yearly Price Agreements with major OEMs.
➢ Provide advice to the business teams and ensure fit for purpose contracts are handed over for management. Draft, review & amend various contractual documents in line with applicable policies, standard forms and legal requirements.
➢ Establish and manage relationships with internal business partners, suppliers, technology leadership and executive stakeholders.
➢ Mitigate corporate risk through contract negotiations and supply oversight/availability.
➢ Develop, implement and maintain a robust Supplier Risk Management process that segments the supply base and translates risk data into key insights and actions across all business units.
➢ Needs analysis, vendor relationship management, contract negotiation, cost reduction, cost savings and team leadership to facilitate improved financial performance.
➢ Negotiate contract agreements for products and services.
➢ Review contract terms and conditions to verify that they are in compliance with company policies and all applicable rules and state regulations.
➢ Assess contractor performance to identify the need for amendments of existing contracts.
➢ Guarantee terms of contracts are fulfilled in compliance with the contract terms and regulations.
➢ Information & Communication Technologies (ICT) management.
➢ Develop, implement and refine procedures for administration & contract management, to provide a consistent and sound basis for the engagement of external providers of ICT products and services.
➢ Market visit and trade shows to increase market network and awareness.
➢ Led development of strategic and tactical procurement planning for inducing savings and increasing profitability in accordance with defined KPIs.
➢ Advise, guide and support the development of and adherence to procurement policy, best practice and law.
➢ Promote and engage in the implementation of relevant technology solutions, including e-procurement, to minimize purchase to pay costs.
➢ Identify needs, reduce unwanted product and service demand.
➢ Ensure to accomplish strategic procurement business goals and objectives.
➢ Cross functional coordination with various departments for effective achievement of business goals as One Team.
People Management:
➢ Assists in the training and development of personnel in the Procurement and Subcontracts department.
➢ Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Management.
➢ Coach and support the team effectively to drive the achievement of organizational and performance objectives, by identifying opportunities for growth and learning while fostering a high-performance culture.
