1- Reviewing & approving the contractors’ baseline programs in line with scope of work, Issued for Construction drawings, Bill of Quantities, Signed Contract, ensuring the implementation of all authorities’ approvals, defining long lead items, advising the missing items and recommendations on it.
2- Providing and amending the planning & controlling requirements documents; ensuring all the Contractors comply with and are providing all the progress Key Performance Index (KPIs) as required.
3- Monitoring the Contractors’ weekly Updated Baseline Programs, Contractors and Consultants progress reports, tracking the procurement logs and highlighting any delays related to Provisional Sums/ Prime Cost Materials/ long leads items.
4- Producing biweekly progress reports for the high management highlighting all Project components progress status, realistic forecast completion based on Contractors performance, risks register, area of concerns, cost/time variances, EOT claims status along with exposed EOT Claims, studying root cause analysis for project delays and suggesting solutions for their mitigation.
5- Requesting, reviewing and approving mitigation/ recovery plans submitted by the Contractors.
6- Reviewing the Contractors’ EOT claims in detail, ensuring they are following the suitable delay analysis technique based on the Contract, reviewing the Consultants determination and raising the fair recommendation for high management.
7- Conducting daily/ weekly site visits with the Project Director/ High management, auditing all the construction works progressed to ensure they are all progressing in line with early planned dates, in sequence, and with the required quality.
8- Following up on daily basis the Authorities approvals status, and raising concerns on time for high management required involvement.
9- Representing the Company in Contractors’ Weekly Progress Meetings, Suppliers Meetings and high management decision making meetings.
10- Assisting the Contracts department in amending the Contract especially for the Clauses related to baseline program, extension of times and progress reports.
11- Assisting the Development Director in site micromanagement such as but not limited to testing & commissioning repetitive defects, de-snagging status, commissioning & handing over status, general coordination between different parties, assigning the reviewing responsibilities on functional departments’ in the Company.

7- Reviewing submitted EOT (Extension of time) claims, raise up recommendation to Client, and assist the contractor in recovery plans/ revised schedules.
8- Preparing and attending Weekly Progress Meetings.
9- Providing assistance in any technical difficulties on latest Primavera version.

Design Management Tasks:

1- Developing, Updating and Maintaining the Consultant time schedules for the head office Design Projects.
2- Collecting, managing all sub-consultants time schedules and reflecting them within the project’s master schedule.
3- Estimating the consultancy resources based on the In-house productivity rates and the duration of the project in conjunction with team members.
4- Prepared various flow charts related to design management and authorities’ approvals.
5- Monitoring the project progress with different types of S-Curves: Manpower vs time, Cost vs time.
6- Preparing & submitting weekly/monthly progress report to the Client highlighting the Design Progress, risks, invoices status, design changes and areas of concerns.
7- Providing Management early warning of potential overruns to project time, assisting in their mitigation, and preparing the EOT claims with associated cost for client review & approval.
8- Prepare & submit the extension of time claims, using the suitable delay analysis method, collecting substantiation documents for historical records, calculating the associated cost and basis of estimation.
9- Assisting the business development team in proposals preparation, preparing fee estimation based on expected teaming strategy and issuing adequate Time Schedule for it.
10- Preparing Site Supervision Deployment based on expected construction works sequence and activities breakdown.
11- Giving support for other sites teams, in planning services, such as reviewing baseline schedules, progress report template, reviewing submitted EOT claims, and annual holiday’s replacement.
