• Develop appropriate procurement policies according to business requirements and apply best practice standards;
• Provide technically and economically efficient alternatives to procure the required materials and services;
• Examine trends, levels of quality, specifications and prices related to the required materials and services;
• Collect information on the market situation and competitiveness related to materials and services available in the market that the company needs;
• Review the purchase orders received from different departments in the company and follows up their implementation;
• Issue purchase orders (purchase);
• Review and check purchase contracts to ensure their safety in cooperation with the legal affairs in the company and ensure collecting all the signature “approvals” of all concerned parties;
• Approve the final destination of the materials and services supplied so that acceptance and rejection is approved as a result of the process of receipt and examination by specialists and concerned in this regard;
• Pursues the organization of records to save procurement information and data;
• Timeously receive all information from all involved Scatec international procurement support colleagues, and prepare, update and timeously circulate structured reporting information necessary for the PM team to manage all aspects of procurement and logistics.
• Expedite necessary documentation to facilitate logistics
• Place purchase orders as requested by Project Manager
• Process call-offs and purchase orders
• Follow up the assigned contracts
• Identify and advise the Project Manager of any issues and risks associated with the Project
• Establish and manage the quality control system for modules, inverters and HV equipment. This involves - factory inspection, use of 3’rd parties as well as our internal product inspection routines.
• Assist the Project Director in concluding change requests, claims or variation orders initiated by subcontractors.
• Draft and finalize the required report to management
• Good knowledge and relationship with local, international forwarding agents and local clearing agents
• Good knowledge with customs procedures and roles related to the renewable energy industry specially the Solar systems
