Conducting the following works from commencement of Project until completion of the Work :
• Project Planning : Overall Project Plan through various Stage Gates the Project Life Cycle; namely :
o SOR ( Scope Of Requirement ),
o PIN ( Project Initiation Note ),
o Feasibility Study,
o FEED/ECS, and
o EPIC/Construction.
• Scheduling the entire Project ( Using MS or Primavera P6 ) from SOR to end of EPIC/Construction.
• Risk Analysis during SOW ( Scope of Work ) review.
• Budgeting the entire Project from SOR to end of EPIC/Construction.
• Pre-Award Stage : Planning input into preparation of bids and tender evaluation.
• Post-Award Stage : Progress Monitoring and Project Control.
o Reviewing Contractors’ Planning Packages through ASSAI WEB -
Approving Planning Packages
Reviewing Revised Planning Packages
o Reviewing Contractors’ Daily, Weekly, Monthly Progress Reports,
o Attending Weekly and Monthly Progress Meetings, and interface meetings,
o Liaise with Contractors’ Planning Engineer on progress matters - Engineering, Procurement and Construction,
o Liaise with Project Engineers / Managers on Contractor’s performance,
o Payment Certification, through SAP,
o Work Change Management : Evaluation of Work Change Requests - Schedule Impact,
o Risk Analysis of Work Change,
o Delay analysis and preparation of Notice of Delay,
o Evaluation of Contractors’ Claims,
o Asset Capitalization, through SAP,
o Project Close-out, through SAP.
• Other general activities include :
o Establishing KPI ( Key Performance Indices ),
o Monitoring the KPI’s for individual Contracts,
o Monitoring Project Stage Gates from SOR to completion,
o Preparation of Management Reports and Power Point Presentations of major / sensitive Projects,
o Compiling Variance Cost Reports,
o Annual Budget Preparation,
o Asset Capitalization, through SAP.
Since the number of Projects handled amounts to 100s, a list of some of the major Projects is available, if required.
