• Incoming & In process quality inspection of Fire doors, Fire cabinets, hose reels, hose racks, hydrants
• Follow up with CFT to take permanent actions in In process Issues/Improvements
• Taking Permanent actions against the customer complaints and in process issues to prevent the recurrence of the problem by using 7 QC tools.
• Conducting Internal Audits as per the schedule and preparing audit reports, Raising Nonconformity reports.(NCPD)
• To ensure timely closure of non - conformities identified in internal & external audits and upkeep of relevant records
• Measuring & monitoring the process performance.
• Responsible for calibration of instruments
• Responsible for conducting various tests in hose reel, hose rack as per UL, CE, KM standards
• Plan and carry out Manufacturing Process & Product audits.
• Preparing & Issuing test reports for the products
• Maintain all relevant standards for the products
• Responsible for Inspecting the samples annually to the certification bodies
• Periodic inspection of Powder coating pretreatment chemical analysis on daily basis and to inspect the oven temperature, paint storage room temperature at regular internals
• First piece inspection for the sheet metal components.
• Conducting IQA(Internal Quality Audits) as per plan
• Controlling all calibrations like instruments, equipments, dialgauges, jigs, devices & fixtures
• Inspection of first, middle and last parts at regular intervals .
• Checking whether the machines are running under standard process parameters and capture the same in our inspection records
• Finding root cause for the issues arised In inprocess and hence reduced rejection rate & PPM
• Maintaining control chart and check sheets
• Handled materials such as PVC, PMMA, PC, PP, POM, PBT&ABS related to injection molding
• Conducted daily morning meetings with the machine operators and make them understand the importance of maintaining quality and to maintain & improve the quality level
• Ensure the process is carried out as per control plan & Work Instruction, JES& SOS
• Responsible for the complaints arised in our products at the customer end and closing the complaints by taking countermeasures in 8D format & 4 M methods.
• To conduct Process audits, QC meetings, and follow up the action plans till the completion and to evaluate the supplier along with purchase team on regular intervals
