Implemented effective strategies for capacity building and training for journalists and media professionals to develop their skills in journalism and media, developed a strong knowledge of international donor requirements; monitored project implementation to ensure project deliverables are met and exceeded.
Led the preparation of the ARIJ Annual forum for 5 years in a row, turning it into the biggest gathering for independent media in the MENA region, drastically increasing the number of partner organizations from 11 in 2016 to 40+ in 2021.
Among other things; responsibilities include:
- Setting up a distribution network across KSA of wholesale/ Retail distributors, adopt the right strategy towards the market, identifying potential distributors, select the right product portfolio that suits the market needs, conduct competitors analysis, select the right pricing strategy, determine stock quantities, forecast future demand, develop a successful business model and the right incentives program, approach potential distributors and negotiate win-win situations to all parties involved.
- Conduct presentations and training seminars for the different company products, over the period of my employment, more than 22 successful seminars were held with the major Construction Consulting Firms in Riyadh and in Jeddah, introducing the company range of Water heaters, BMS controls, Piping & fittings solutions, Pressurization systems and Video/ Audio solutions.
- Develop the company overall marketing strategy, oversee plan execution for 2015/2016 which includes developing a strong brand identity, redesign the company website, design of company profile, product catalogue, brochures, Roll Ups, Social media platforms, presentations and Marketing Materials.
• Provide consultation services for multiple Medium size- Small businesses and entrepreneurs on business planning, record keeping, direct marketing and Social Media management in Cardiff, UK.
• As an elected MBA student leader; I worked as a liaison officer between the faculty and the students to ensure that students are getting the best benefit of education, also providing private tutoring sessions for students who need help in their study.
• Successfully provide consultative services for several Local Libyan organizations including SAHARI Bank, NGO’s Development Centre, and National Organisation for People with Disabilities NOPD, and Lighthouse International Training & Consultancy.
• Capacity building and training for 200 members of Local NGO’s as part of “Rowwad” Project funded by the Canadian Embassy across 3 different areas of Libya.
• Capacity building and training for 230 members of Local NGO’s as part of “Sharik” Project funded by the British Embassy in Tripoli across 6 different areas of Libya.
