• Manages a team of facilities operators to ensure that all teaching and research spaces are in good condition at all times.
• Develops and implements a quality assurance process and customer service hotline
• Troubleshoots HVAC, UPS, and safety systems and follows work orders with Physical Plant Department.
• Develops, implements, and maintains an environmental sustainability plan for faculty of engineering operations, prioritizing energy, water, and waste reduction.
• Coordinates with physical plant department the maintenance of faculty of engineering assets that are under the custody of physical plant.
• Directly overseas all construction and renovation activities of faculty of engineering in coordination with the relevant entities on campus.
• Closely coordinates with the faculty of engineering architects on physical space improvements
Leading a team of QC Mechanical Engineers for the New King Abdul Aziz International Airport in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia covering the following:
•Passenger Terminal Buildings including the following facilities:
•International Boarding Areas.
•Four Star Airport Hotel.
•Passenger Boarding Bridges.
•Automated People Mover (APM) Tunnel & APM Depot Maintenance stations (including fresh air ventilation like jet fans, smoke control and railway cooling system consisting of Air Handling Units and return air fans)
•Node buildings serving Airplanes services such as:
•PCA Units including glycol and chilled water cooling pipes
•Vacuum pipes
•Fuel pipes
•Plant rooms for glycol pipes composed of 6 chillers
•Plant rooms for Vacuum with its pumps and valves
•Air Traffic Control Tower (highest control tower worldwide 137 meter height) composed of 22 floors including 2 chillers with 1255 KW capacity each with its pumps and 25 AHU’s.
•Main rescue & firefighting Building.
My main role as a QA/QC Senior Engineer is to check all mechanical method of statements & ITP’s (inspection & testing plans) and the materials submitted by subcontractors as per project specifications and international codes & standards like SMACNA, NFPA, ASHRAE, IPC, etc.
Following up all inspections on site and preparing and revising daily reports, site instructions and Non-Conformance reports (NCR’s) in case of any violation in workmanships or documents.
Resolve all NCR’s and Site Instructions submitted by the consultant in a timely manner.
Representing the Mechanical Department in all meetings including work progress, planning, testing and commissioning meetings and provide recommendations.

Working as a QA/QC on two different projects: The Aircraft Hangars Maintenance in Jeddah and Princess Nora University in Riyadh.
Working on the quality of installing HVAC & Plumbing systems in addition to medical gas networks installation in Schools of Medicine and Science including seven buildings and Medical Center.
Preparing request for inspection & materials inspection request and submitting completed work to consultant.
Coordinating with other services such as civil, electrical and architecture to maintain quality of work and to avoid work installation obstruction.
Testing & pre-commissioning of each building including air balancing, pressure and leakage test of pipes and ducts.
In addition to installation of all equipment’s such as AHU’s, pumps, chillers, FCU’s, Exhaust and Fresh Air Fans.
Designing Social & Medical Centers in addition to private schools in Lebanon. This includes Heating, Cooling & Ventilation networks (ducting, chilled water pipes, heating pipes) and equipment selection and installation (radiators, boilers, chillers, pumps, FCUs, Exhaust & Fresh Air Fans) with corresponding equipment schedules.
Preparing BOQs for the mentioned projects with pricing lists.
Working in reviewing of shop drawings and attending site meetings for the Saudi Embassy project of Beirut.
Working in BOQ preparations and pricing lists for HVAC and plumbing trades for the Sea View Hotel in Beirut and the Beirut Arab University Campus in Debbieh, Lebanon.
