• Coordinate with the clients and customers and make schedule for the Testing & Commissioning activities.
• Scheduling the Testing activities, and leading the Team to achieve the Target.
Investigating problems, diagnosing and repairing faults.
Providing technical support.
Ensuring safe working conditions as per the Standards.
Training maintenance and operative staff where appropriate.
Liaising with installation/project engineers.
Trouble shooting of systems, scheme checking of logic.
Preparation of cable schedules, modification of logic in electrical drawings.
Possesses and applies a broad knowledge of principals, practices and procedures of power system commissioning and site acceptance testing in the field, train and assist customers with installation, commissioning and operation of devices and systems.
Support customers with the installation, commissioning and operation of automation and protection systems.
Document, report and solve technical issues and malfunctions.
Collaborate with project and engineering teams in the development of project deliverables.
Continuously identify, measure, and improve processes.
Complete assigned work within agreed upon schedule while focusing on quality and safety.
Maintenance of MV Switchgears.
Installation and maintenance of control panels PLC systems and SCADA system (Simatic pcs 7 software)
Electrical instrumentation maintenance.
Motors maintenance.
Maintenance of low voltage substations' MCCs including all types of power boxes and cables.
Key Responsibilities:
• Developed an unmanned metro project by controlling it automatically on Egyptian Engineering Day 2012.
• Ensured the metro was adaptable to real time situations, negating traffic and other fast changing variables.
• Guaranteed excellent operational safety for the passengers without compromising on precision or comfort of the ride.
• Timely identified and resolve technical problems faced during construction of the project.
• Reduced operational and maintenance costs by identifying and eradicating unnecessary operational expenditures.
• Designed the metro to reduce the number of active staff required to run the operation, further reducing operational costs.
• Applied latest engineering concepts, PLC, and SCADA to optimize systems performance.
