• To lead the Quality team in Quality assurance/Quality control & Team Management responsibilities.
• Scheduling, mentoring & managing team of 30 members.
• Act as Expert advisor & technically guide to follow / adhere Quality Assurance, Food Safety, and Regulatory Compliance across the business
• Ensure Integrated Management System (IMS) certifications are maintained and developed
• Implement, follow up and improve company quality and food safety policies/system
• Help, generate and distribute quality reports in a timely and accurate manner.
• Daily monitoring of production facility & premises for compliance against QHSE requirements.
• Build SOP for all processes in liaison with Food safety Team.
• Increasing awareness amongst employees about QHSE through counselling, onsite training, Posters, instructions etc.
• Ensuring Product conformance to specifications requirements (Legal, Standard & Customer requirements).
• Notification of product quality and safety issues; identifying business risks and effective communication of issues.
• Training and mentoring to assure all associates are fully capable of achieving Quality & Food Safety expectations.
• Verification of effectiveness of Cleaning & sanitation programs.
• Legal & Statutory Affairs - Liaise with Food Control authorities/municipalities to solve customer / consumer complaints, legality issues, food safety related issues and ensure we continually meet all legal requirements.
• Manage preventative pest control contracts in line with QSHE standards.
• Ensure laboratory operation is effective in ensuring compliance of all raw materials, packaging and finished goods to regulatory requirements, quality standards and customer specifications.
• Responsible for overall quality control of wide range of products.

• Incoming inspection of the wide range of food products.
• Verification of storage condition of products
• To follow-up pest control activities on periodic basis.
• To develop update & maintain HACCP plan with a scope of Food Storage & distribution (Frozen, Chilled & dry)

• To ensure that the expired food products are properly segregated, labelled & disposed.

a) Product Safety & quality Management:
• HACCP Coordinator & member of Food Safety Team. A contact person in factory for prerequisite Plan, implement and review.
• Ensure that all process control parameters are within range & follow up corrections & corrective actions in case of deviations.
• To verify the results of all the physiochemical, microbiological & sensory analysis done by In-Line quality controllers.

• Handling certification/Surveillance/Customer audits with quality manager
• Risk assessment of site, equipment & process to identify occupational safety hazards & control it.
b) New Product Development, packaging materials design & Process Stabilization
• Conducting new product lab/line trials, evaluation of samples & reporting.
• Carryout line stabilisation for new products in liaison with R & D, project Manager.
• Ensuring all product changeovers smoothly.
• Conducting Raw material trials & evaluations in lab/line trials.
• Verify the packaging materials print proof from packaging supplier prior to print for legal requirements & design.
• Determine the labelling requirements for new products and update for existing products in case of any change.
c) Hygiene, pest Control & Environment Control
• Weekly hygiene & food safety audits of all lines, reporting & follow-up for effective corrective & preventive actions.
• Coordinate with Sanitation technician on PRPs, Hygiene, pest control & housekeeping.
• Verification of cleaning, sanitation & pest control effectiveness.
