Global lead for implementing TE's Lean initiative (TE operating advantage) for the division. Leading India SQA network of TE business unitis in India for driving SQA metrics and Supplier development.
Familiar with part development in all types of commodities - sheet metal, high speed stamping, machined components, Castings, Finishing operations, Electronic assemblies, etc
Successfully led the Global IPO division for Lean system deployment and been instrumental in obtaining Maturity awards for the deployment.
I was heading Quality Assurance dept at Carborundum Universal Ltd in Tamilnadu, India. I was responsible for managing QMS for the division, customer interfacing for technical needs, new product development, process management, establishing and managing testing facility, driving continual improvent activities, establishing new equipments and processes. etc
Familiar with Fabrication, Ceramic processing (Mixing, sintering, machining, coating and plating operrations).
Successfully led Business impact product developments and got awarded consistently.
Worked as a Quality assurance engineer heading Product quality assurance. I was responsible for Incoming quality, Assembly quality, Final build quality and Customer complaints in the ATM (Automated Teller Machines) manufacturing.
Was part of core team deploying ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 for the plant.
Also, part of the team which developed ATM for India specific markets.
Worked as Junier Quality engineer. Handled Quality activities in all the sections of manufacturing - Incoming section, Assembly, Plating, Stamping, Molding, Harness, Sub-contractor quality, Calibration.
Was involved in establishing the QMS system in the plant with respect, ISO 9001/TS 16949.
Had hands on experience in inspection, calibration, deployment of SPC. MSA, FMEA, Control plan, etc.
Developed subcontractors with complete deployment of production and process controls, which resulted in obtaining Gold awards from customers for the product quality.
