I am working as Head of Group, Engineering Standards were I create and update engineering best practice documents and standards procedures for Kaduna Electric Distribution Company Plc, using the Nigerian electricity regulators guidelines ie Nigerian Electricity Regulators (NERC) and The Nigerian Electricity Management Services Agency (NEMSA)
I make sure detail material specifications and standard procedures are outline in all new projects.
1st Role: Power System Analyst: Engineering

I use analysis tools (ETAP and Ms Excel) to analyze Kaduna Electric Distribution Networks reliability and performance. I carry out studies such as:
-Load Flow Analysis
-Short Circuit Analysis
-Reliability indices
-Relay Co-ordinations &
-Arc Flash Studies for New Projects
After every study a detail report on the findings is submitted to our Head of Department for further action.
-Enroll Nigerians that wants to register for National ID Card.
-Solving Computer and Electrical related problems
-Printing and issuing NIN slips to the registered applicants
As intern everyday the work changes.
-Helping in preparing reports.
-Helping to verify and edit Electrical Drawings.
-Taking Drafts to the site. etc
Master in Technical Education (Specialized in Electrical Engineering) Duration: 2 years Completion date: November, 2013 Publication: Nuclear Power in OIC Member States (for sustainable development of Muslim ummah) at Lambert Academic Publication, Germany, April 2013. Published research article titled “A Study of the Problems for Development of Technical and Vocational Education in Katsina State, Nigeria” in IOSR Journal of Engineering (IOSRJEN), a Journal of International Organization of Scientific Research (IOSR).
Athletic competition, Thesis: Micro-controlled Circuit for Microwave Oven, Internship in Ghorashal Thermal Power Station in Bangladesh
Submitted Thesis Project: Titled Traffic light control system. Industrial Experience at Rural Electrification Board(REB), Katsina State Nigeria.
Result: Upper class division.
